Doing the 4wd swap. A 89 MJ, 4.0, auto. The 2wd speedo cable got messed up while pulling parts. Question is : the 4wd speedo cable is different ?????? If so best place to get a new one ???? Thanks

Looks about like mine when I got it. But new floor pans and a friend who can weld I now have a solid floor. So yes can be fixed and if you do it enjoy working on it

As the title says, what size lift do I need adjustable upper and lower control arms on front dana 30 ??? Looking at either 3 inch or 4 1/2. Swapping my 89 MJ 2wd to 4wd. This will be a daily driver but get some off roading. I'm staying with the S.U.A. in the rear but looking into getting new springs.

Like I said I made a mistake by asking what part were worth. For the past month been hitting the join button and have never been let back in. Here's reason I'm asking. My 4.0 that was original to truck had a warped head, block and piston problems so found a 97 Cherokee 4.0 that was rebuilt with around 40,000 off craigslist. Put it in last spring and about a month ago got a bad knocking. Guys going to pull motor (I have no garage) and see whats causing it. It has been bored so think if cylinders are bad will need a new engine again. Been pricing 4.0 and they are $1,400 and up. Its a 2WD, auto If I could find a good running 318 would it fit and whats all involved ? I'm not a chevy guy so no to a smal block chevy
