  8. Considering that it's a horrible engine that's not even heavy enough to be a good boat anchor, it's a terrible choice for you. And it's not even an easy swap, since your truck was originally set up for a 4.0L. It would be easy for you to get a complete wiring harness out of a wreck, and just go with the 4.0L again. If you really want to avoid EFI, get a Wrangler (or AMC) 4.2L, which was basically the same engine but with a longer stroke and a carburetor. :agree: there ya have it folks the all knowing Eagle :bowdown: and ive seen a dead hog with more get up and go than the 2.8 in my truck

  10. You and i have the mirror idea I'm going fuel injected you want carb i know my buddys cj had a v8 under the hood and that motor would pin ya back into the seat though sadly ther 2.8 at least as far as ive seen in the nashville area is underpowered on hills and not very get up n go

  12. i scrap some to hold me over on my huntin and jeep costs ive taken old above ground pools half a car a few hay rings about 100 washers and 300 dryers some weeks i make about 2,000 cause I'm there so much but others i only have small loads and total about 900
  13. it really depends on location and metal prices and WEIGHT Weight is a big pay factor

  16. the CNC at my school is a hyro base plasma cutter that being said its one bad beast I helped one of my buddys there make a set of steel knuckles out of fairly thick steel plate i wanna say 16th inch or maybe inch thick..but i may be off it was a cold day and i wasnt top gun cause i had been sick the night before but heck they turned out good and propper

  18. that blows delays like that are a pain hope your build doest slow too much because of the lost matteral

  24. i bought a rocknob grenade shift knob back when i had a non running cj-5 and I'm wondering if the knob will fit an auto trans column shift
  25. screw landmines Id personaly rather have explosive targets and shoot em with my deer rifle safe to run over,drop and light on fire and won't go boom in a rollover
