  1. Must have her trained well in order to tell you about something she saw, let alone it be the correct part. Rob

  5. At my current job, they treat us like CRAP. We are currently in litigation with them for the way they treat us, and our pay as compared to other areas. After heading up the union for us, you really get to see the true colors of those you work for. I have a few applications out now, and more coming down the line... Be sure to watch for this when I get a job: ZIct-QkElFM Rob :D
  6. IIRC, Don posted that truck up awhile ago. Rob
  7. $2500+ is why. Meh, as a co worker used to say: "It's just money, you make more everyday..." And "Going to be in debt for the rest of your life, might as well have some nice $#!&." For a guy who wrenched during the day, and rebuilt sewing machines at night, he pulled down some cash. Rob
  8. Just because McDonalds calls it college doesn't mean its legit. On a lighter note, :D ... Congrats Ed! Sounds like you really turned it around, and made the best of it the second time. Rob
  9. Search my friend, search. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=27678&hilit=motion+offroad Rob
  10. Don't ask me why, but I am going to guess that its a '90. Rob
  11. You'll need the actual mechanical insert. Probably only run you a couple of bucks at a junkyard. Try to find a similarly equipped XJ/MJ... IE, make sure the drivetrain matches close. That way the mech speedo gear will match to the correct axle ratios. Assuming that the PO didn't swap the harnesses on you, you wouldn't even have the right equipment to make the electrical cluster work anyway. Rob
  12. Meh, I wouldn't be worried at all I bet that you just need to pull the valve cover, and clean the vent stacks inside of it. If someone had an XJ/MJ and told me their oil filter wasn't covered in oil I would be more surprised. I mean, sounds terrible, pay me, and I might think about taking it off your hands and relieving you of the problem. Rob :D
  13. Welcome to the club... You know what year the drivetrain is out of? You will anyway to replace parts and stuff. If you have the problem I think you do, manual cluster, Electric sender... Its an easy fix. You can just pull out the electrical speed sensor on the transfercase, and replace it with the mechanical one... Real simple to do. Replace it with the mech one, and get yourself a cable. Did they change the harness too? Rob
  14. Ke$ha? Yeah, I'd let her touch it. Rob :brows:
  15. One of the last too. Shouldn't have sold it. Maybe trade him for your current ride? Rob
  16. Someone had done one, and it was for sale on ebay last year... It looked perfect. I still regret not saving the pics from the listing. It was red and black, and the bed looked like a tame version of the one that was on the M715. Rob
  17. ... They say anything about the bite? Rob :redX:
  18. And Ebonics, don't forget ebonics. I was going to say that. I thought that in 'billy land, A tire was a tire, and a wheel is a tire. "Nice tyres, they chrome?" Rob :dunno:
  19. Good luck Jim, be looking forward to the pics. Rob
  20. Going to be the new DD Jim? Rob
  21. Garage sales are killer for CB's... Keep an eye out, and you can find a good old one. Rob
  22. Ok, so maybe I am the only one wondering this, and I appreciate the pics (very cool 8) ) but of all places, why is this in the Great Lakes section? Rob :dunno:
