  1. I sent him an email a week or so ago... Nothing yet. Rob :dunno:
  2. It's so 5 years ago, it's in extreme need of updating, so excuse the mess. Also excuse the pop-ups. It's a free site. If you have FF, you won't even notice them. :D www.comanchemj.1hwy.com Rob
  3. Ever been to my website and thumbscrolled through the MJ spotter? Rob
  4. Got the pics of the title today. SO PUMPED. Rob
  5. Bolted the beds together on the Eliminator, bought a lock for Will's trailer, and picked up a board to replace the rotten one. Tricky getting that sucker in there. The back is tucked into c-channel, and the front has a top cap welded on. Rather than grind off the welds to release the plate, I took a short cut. :D Bam-zoom. Little security... My boss already gave me the plug and play brake controller for the roomie's truck. Tomorrow I am picking it up from where he parks it when he picks up his tractor-trailer, and giving it some love. Needs a good look over and oil change. Just waiting on a pic of the Diesel's Title. Rob
  6. Have some pics of what you found? I am guessing Pioneer. Rob
  7. Pop goes the D35. Congrats on the buy. Rob :D
  8. Normally, traffic flows at 5 MPH over the speed limit. Not when people spot a squad. Attitudes change when at a stop sign too. The rolling and short stops become locked up games where no one wants to go until the squad goes first. The officers at work call it "Cop shock". Rob
  9. My radar detector can pick up the bands way before I can see the guy usually... Mile or so, it will start beeping. That is, if they are lazy. If he's just using the trigger, and hitting you when he sees you, by then that radar detector is only good to let you know your getting pulled over. What I do know is that when I take the squads out for test drives after I service them, having everyone PEG or UNDERSHOOT the speed limit, as well as Walt Disney at stop signs, I would have so much road rage if I had to sit in one all day. Rob
  10. nope i was planning to do that but i lost title that time. Slipping on us Marcel? Rob
  11. If you left that there with time left in open hours, expect it to be gone. Stuff like that you have to either take while you are there, or have them set it aside for you to come back. Around here, you'd be fighting guys off with 4 ways just to take a coil off. Rob
  12. I'll bring it when I drop off the trailer. Thanks again! Rob
  13. Finally got some communication. Back to your scheduled broadcast day. Rob
  14. I stand by my original statement. Rob
  15. That serial number is pretty darn close to Terrawombat's '92, which was made 3-92... I'd bet it's in the same month. Mighty fine looking truck though... Rob
  16. Just talked to him on the phone... AX15. Sounds like the clutch won't disengauge. Rob

  18. We might be on hold pending some communication... Or a lack thereof. Rob :headpop:
  19. A member here made a framework that had a 2X4 in front of and behind the wheel wells. Then he put sandbags in the middle. Kept the weight right over the axle, and prevented it from sliding around. Rob
  20. Already sold, but he did still have the truck. 10-91. Rob :D
  21. Bump for what? Did the Autocheck or Carfax work? Rob
  22. :agree: I'd rather have a warranty. I have yet to have a problem, but to each his own. You made me think of one of my favorite movies, Tommy Boy: "But why do they put a guarantee on the box?" "Because they know all they sold ya was a guaranteed piece of $#!&. That's all it is, isn't it? Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I got spare time. But for now, for your customer's sake, for your daughter's sake, ya might wanna think about buying a quality product from me. " Rob
  23. I know '86-'87 didn't... Page before the MJ badge list... Rob
  24. Call up your nearest Interstate Battery place, and ask if they have a blemish battery in stock. They should, the MJ battery is pretty standard. A blemish interstate is a battery that is returned or reconditioned, and tested in good shape. They are stickerless, have no warranty, but hey, it's a friggen interstate. It's the only thing I run anymore... Same with the guys I work with. He's had one trucking along in his parents snow bird vehicle for 5 years. Did I mention they are only about $30? Rob
