  1. i have been thinkin possiably ingintion control mod. i am planing on getting that a coil, another tps, cam pick up, and a air intake sensor tomorrow hopeing one of them will fix it and i really don't think cps seems how my rps never drop well they drop but the tach doesnt bounce around when its doing its stupid stuff

  4. ok so my 88 mj does some wierd stuff some times it runs 100% and other times well it doesnt when it is acting up if you give it much throttle it cuts out and will either loose everything or back fires threw the intake or numerous other thing i have been beating my head at it for a while and really can't seem to track it down and also it only does it once its a operating temp when its cold it runs perfect and some days it doesnt have a single issue tonight i couldnt even get it over 35 and most times if i shut it off and let it sit for a minute or two it will come out of it for a few minutes also my tach doesnt drop off when its doing it so i really don't think its the cps it has confused the hell out of me

  6. yep tcu if you unplug it it will do exactly as its doing so i would say its either a loss of power or it went bad
  7. under the truck follow the line from the slave cylinder up towards the master cylinder my bet would be that the line is resting on the body causing a vibrating sound
  8. you will need a renix compressor unless you want to retro fit ho brackets and alternator onto the jeep
  9. i just ordered a south bend clutch for mine its a little pricey but it will hold over 500 hp and will be able to be heavily slipped
  10. did you look at the line from the master cylinder to the slave?
  11. the only reason why people run the auto tps is price they are 1/2 the price of the manual one but also any time you loosen a screw on eh tps you need to check to make sure that it is still set correctly

  16. i should have used masking tape but it was about 3 am when i was doing this so i wasnt thinking to clear lol and it also has a gasket on it i just like to go a little over board on things thats why i used sealant on it

  18. we also live on a busy highway with welded rears so taking off in 2nd doesnt work very well
  19. ok so after a good bit of research i still can't get a answer my ba 10 and a buddies hates the 1 to 2nd shift when cold causing us to nearly come to a stop to get it to go into gear i have put 75/90 in mine and it didnt help i have read ony a few forms people saying to run 10/40 but no one has ever said if they have done this for sure or not so I'm just wanting to get some input from people i trust and have used it before i do it also i am broke so redline is out of the question

  21. sounds like your speedometer its self is going out time to replace your cluster

  23. how long does the battery last and time to recharge?
  24. you could try vinegar but i don't know if the acid in it would be strong enough to cut through all the grime
