  5. the quality of the Bosch is worth the money. The one i originally put in it was a el cheapo from rockauto.
  6. my tank was rusty thats where all my issues came from
  7. power washed it, dried it, and used a shopvac to get the rest of the junk out. Also went and bought a bosch pump and filter. She is back on the road again
  8. figured it out rust in the dang fuel tank
  9. i grounded the pump within a foot of the plug and also ran a hot wire to a switch and then to the pum directly to eliminate that right off the bat today
  10. ok well i made a fuel gage long enough to reach to the wipers and took it for a drive. Before it starts running like crap the pressure is perfect. Once it starts it drops like crazy it starts running terriable around 27psi. and if i keep my foot in it long enough it will drop to 7-8psi. After i let off it will slowly return to the mid 30s. So now to figure out whats going on. Also it has been shut off for around 20-30 minutes and its still at 38psi. so its not leaking down. New fuel pump, strainer, and the filter only has around 1500 miles on it.
  11. and i will check the wires but i have been under the dash quite a few times and never noticed anything
  12. Cruiser i really don't know what else to do lol i normally can fix a 4.0 just by hearing it, but with this i can't figure it out at all if the O2 sensor doesn't fix it I'm going to swap computers with a buddie. if its still the same it will be getting a head gasket and possibly a new head
  13. sounds like what mine does but mine normally doesnt die
  14. ok so far in the past 24hrs i have replaced cps, air intake temp, ingintion control module, fuel pressure regulator, map sensor, coil, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator. I have also bypassed the factory wiring on the fuel pump so i could turn a switch on to send power directly to it when it started acting up, and that didnt help at all. New o2 sensor will be here tomorrow afternoon
  15. any way to by pass it? possibly un plug it?
  16. yes i have followed allmost all of your Renix tips. I did them all with in the first week of buying it
  17. yes i replaced the hoses
  18. Also i have cleaned all my grounds, plugs and the c101 connector
  19. Also brand new fuel pump installed last night. I have by passed the balast resistor, and also when it does its stuff the fuel pump is screaming untill it starts then it goes quiet. The old pump did this also thats why i bought a new one. Any one know a common spot for the fuel pump wireing to be bad, or do you still thing it would be open/ closed loop?
  20. but i guess ill go buy a new cps and o2 sensor also this ting is wearing on me needless to say
