cold air intake pics?
Oizarod115 replied to undercoverwalrus's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
x2 but without any underhood matting... that's exactly what i have. sounds good, and can be cleaned. but its not REALLY a COLD air intake, and i doubt it gives much power if any. -
Laptop Mount Installed - PICS!
Oizarod115 replied to LEAD_NOT_FOLLOW's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
looks good man, i've thought about it but i don't go on long enough trips to use it anyways and in atlanta area i'd have to take it with me everywhere when i got out of the truck or the whole damn truck would go missing. -
that happened to my brothers D30 but it was bone dry on fluid, happened when he was driving (slowly thank god) locked up and dragged tires til she stopped, pulled the inner shafts (leaving the stubs in the hubs) so that he could continue driving it.

Bleeding my brakes all at once?
Oizarod115 replied to jtdesigns's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
when i did my drums (completely factory stuff no mods to the brakelines or valves) all we did was open the rear bleeders and let them drip. then when they got ot a steady stream closed em off and the pedal felt great. -

Oizarod115 replied to jtdesigns's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
or... you could take the top off the master, open all the bleeders and let them run for a while, eventually they'll gravity bleed. -
who says we get addresses from those CC members involved in the military or any other service and send them packages while deployed? motion to gather info anyone? i know i'd send something.

not the case here, plenty of people MORE than half the kids i would say (at school) were cursing and saying the kid who killed himself in a DUI jeep wreck got what he deserved for flying off drunk like that way i see it, that tree he plowed into could have been my brother, my best friend or my girlfriend. there's no excuse for that. and another wreck the year before that killed a passenger same story. most kids round here will chew your @$$ for dui or anything close

sounds like you have other fish to fry but from your original post i'll tell you this... a random pulsing from your brakes could be the rear drums catching if theyre badly worn, mine used to do this under heavy braking it would stop pitifully then every once in a while they would actually catch and it stopped GOOD all the sudden and felt like it shuold but i hadn't changed pressure on the pedal. i'm assuming the rears were so toasted (they were VERY toasted) that only heavy braking would move them enough to catch. (adjusters were also installed backwards the last time someone did them? DOH! (wasn't me)) so i'd pull a drum off and check that over

Rear Speaker Brackets?
Oizarod115 replied to SuperWade2's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
that should be the power on wire from the head unit, just sends a signal to the amp to tell it to turn on when the head unit comes on. i MIGHT be wrong but i think a cross over is like a highpass/lowpass filter in which case low pass would be for bass high for running 6x9s and other speakers. but like i said i'm not sure -
the law is to keep young kids from killing other young kids by mistake/distraction from riding with them til they have a little more experience... i guess to many kids were learning the wrong way ;) What about adults driving preoccupied with: eating chatting on cell phones watching DVD's shaving putting on makeup her behind If I was a kid I will feel a little singled out. obviously everyone has distractions while driving... (and i am a kid, and i went through this rule 2 yrs ago) its a PITA rule that noone really follows, just some people COUGH this guy COUGH got caught. i'm just saying that's the theory behind it

i would assume you could use a set of stud extractors, they shouldn't be MADE in there.

The oil percolation situation
Oizarod115 replied to Tonedef131's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
the RMS is a leak you have to drive the truck for it to start up.. fixed it and it didn't leak, let it idle for hours and only started to drip once driven. so it might be that -
I'm looking at replacing a bunch of things and upgrading while i'm there. plan is 99+ intake, motor mounts, exhaust and just overall replacing stuff i'm sure you've all noticed the difference between the new exhausts and the renix exhaust and the HO is designed for better flow and all that good stuff. but it doesn't have an outlet for the EGR like the renix header does i was wondering if anyone else has done this upgrade and how they put the egr in or if you removed it.
