  1. the turn signals on my brothers 90 XJ are really "lazy" is what i call them, they are slow as hell. but its not really a problem on his jeep. the hazards have a special relay in the fuse panel you check that?
  2. my main reason for them were as follows... AMC 360 i figured in as best choice because of its direct swap in-ness. but i do need a new tranny so i have to find an AX15 before i worry about any of the engine stuff. so i guess i could start out with a tranny that would work. 302- small, pretty much just badass. love ford over chevy (sorry yall) 350- good aftermarket jeep support and knowledge base.
  3. cool we'll be waitin.
  4. my voltmeter used to never get above 9... but i never had problems... hten one day it decided to go back to normal at 14 and has stayed straight up and down (besides the usual drops with all the stuff on, and when in run mode with engine off it reads 12 (dead on)) my heater doesnt drop the volts at all i don't think... maybe like 1/4 of a volt?
  5. Hi all! BYE!
  6. but iam selling some lol i don't need bucket seats i have a bench now  i can't read apparently... sorry haha.
  7. we took my brothers LCA's off and they bolted right back up after a little wiggling? does thsi only happen when you take the whole thign out? or did we get uber lucky? we had the axle on a floor jack and the jeep on jack stands when we did it.
  8. parallel. :chillin:
  9. i accidently drove with the e-brake on about a mile once, it worked well before that happened. hasnt worked since. it holds on tiny little inclines.. but other places i park it in gear and when that fails i use parking chocks.
  10. try this http://www-5.jeep.com/wccsapp/universal/J/index.jsp?appStr=wccs&titleStr=Contact+Jeep&familyStr=brand&franchise=J&actionURL=%2Fwccs%2Fbrand_forms%2Fus%2Fwebform.jsp&promotion=null&category=U thats what i did, just email asking for the origional specs, and build sheet for your truck.

another idea ive been kicking around... moved it from the tech to here cause i realized i had more thinking to do. so should i go.. carbuerated SBC 350 ford 302 5.0L OOORRR AMC 360 http://www.golenengineservice.com has the AMC360 and the SBC350 for the same price and the AMC only makes 30 less lb/ft of torque. plus the AMC engine would match an AX15 bellhousing...
  12. sick... so the manche was able to keep up with all those crazily modified jeeps and other used-to-be-something trucks?
  13. i like how that jeep in the boatpull story actually made it. wow. 95 YJ 2.5L 33" tires; D35.... made a 2,600 mile trip to Al from CA then pulled a ~5000# trailer back the whole way. hell yeah.
  14. yeah man... they auto adjust themselves when the wind-speed gets to high :redX: so that i can make sure nothing is sticking to the side of the truck or the ground that i need to be worried about... :D :D :D
  15. rob; just go to the jeep site, i don't remember exactly where i found it but poke around I'm sure its not too hidden, there is a place for jeep owners to email them and you have to fill in a bunch of information and write a short email bout what you want. free of charge takes a couple days to respond... got to go to work NOW though so ill respond more later if needed.
  16. so wait... you just pulled a free 8.8 and want us to hook you up with cheap bucket seat brackets? BAHAHAHA. ill take 39827$$ :brows: just playin man, but seriously. nice find. was it that good condition before you landed it?! some people have all the luck
  17. oh and, 18.5 gallon tank? usually when i fill up from straight on the bottom white line i get 14 and some change. ?? uh? tinted glass? no sirry. Molded-In-Color Fender Flares .... molded in GRAY? if thats what you meant. definately not color keyed. everything else is fairly accurate thoguh.
  18. apparently i had a 3.X liter v6 in my truck  this is the build sheet they emailed me... 19. so they are 32s? cause I'm gonna run a 32 with my SOA so i was wondering how itd look.
  20. you can run shortarms with that much lift, but its not gonna flex worth a #$@^ the cheapest alternative is drop brackets, then longarms. tracbar, brakelines, shocks no SYE needed.
  21. those are 32s? what height lift is that?
  22. mine was a faulty wheelcylinder on the left side, but it leask really slowly so i still havent replaced it... brake light went off after about a week of driving without bleeding it, just added fluid. (leakybrakes=auto-bleeder system  )
  23. actually my brake light came on in my 89 and my bro was drivign, he pulled over and the rear-brakes side of the MC was EMPTY... it senses pressure in the system. but it does work with my e-brake too. however when that happened the e-brake on/off made no difference.
