7 so called "Police Officers" in the court room vs a very upset unarmed 39 year old and the answer is not to subdue him but for one of the "officers" to draw his/her weapon and shoot him IN THE BACK!. And to put the icing on the cake the victim is being charged with battery of a police officer! Maybe its different down there in AR but I don't see how that situation called for the use of lethal force. How does a town with 174 people have 7 officers anyway? There are towns just up the road from me that have 5 to 6 times the population and don't even have a police force...the county sheriff patrols the town.

if I'm not mistaken a 2 door xj switch would fit the hole the 4 door switch hole.

More than likely its an AX-5, but there is still a very small possibility that its a T-5. AX-5 T-5

In my area xj/MJ dana 44's go for roughly $300 complete drum to drum in good shape.

Unfortunately its an April fools joke Plus I highly doubt jeep will ever have an other vehicle with a solid front axle produced in the states other than the wranger.

Mj and XJ part interchangability?
Burls replied to cambosoup99's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
The engine, trans, & t-case will be a direct bolt in, although you probably will have to swap the wiring harness over from the xj since its a H.O. vs Renix in the mj. For the most part anything in between the front bumper and front doors on a xj will be a bolt on for a mj. -
For those of you wanting to replace/add the Hockey stick style Pioneer/Sport truck decals I found a place that seems to carry them. They seem a bit pricey though. http://www.jeephappy.com/category/jeep-stickers Pioneer $99.95 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/mj-jeep- ... 3aUSQ3a101 Sport truck $79.95 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/jeep-com ... 3aUSQ3a101 Eliminator $19.95 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/mj-jeep- ... 3aUSQ3a101

I think at that point in time when i snapped the picture there was about 1-2 feet in the ground level of the house. The Flower/weeds were in a planter box that was about 1 foot high. There was just over 3 feet of water when the Mississippi crested.

What kind of parts am I looking at here?
Burls replied to Car RamRod's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
It's not going to be an Ax-15. More than likely a T-5. -
4.6 the inline 6? i raced a 1995ish f150 (inline 6) with my 2.5 comanche and beat it years ago. they are slow as **** in that case i hope it wasn't the inline 6, if it was that means i have a slow as hell 4.0 in my xj... 4.6 is a v8..same one found in mustangs, crown vics/grand marq and Lincolns if I'm not mistaken. The inline 6 is the 4.9l/300 ci found in f-150/250s and fullsize broncos up untill 96(150/bronco) and 97(f-250). The 4.9 is only rated at 150 hp and 260 ft/lb of torque. Not exactly a drag racing engine, but they are damn near indestructible.

*$#*$* I was going to make the trip to Indy tomorrow and buy it.

Yeah. Like THAT'll happen. Don't hold your breath ... The days of solid front axles in Jeep SUV's(Wranglers don't count) is a thing of the past. There are way too many yuppies that like their suvs/trucks riding like cars to ever see the return of a solid front axle. Unfortunately a large population of Jeep owners don't take their Jeeps off road and would rather have a smoother ride over articulation. I would love to see a new compact/midsize truck or budget SUV with a solid front axle. I'd buy one in a heartbeat as long as it was a well built(which seems to be a stretch these days ). This is kinda a rant(hell my whole post is) but I would love to seen a compact/midsize Jeep pickup that had a front clip kinda like the patriots.

I do prefer an 87 or new. As for the engine at this point I'd take either. I'm really wanting a long bed as I'd use it for mostly hauling or thats what I'll tell my parents so they'll throw some money in on it as they're looking to get a cheap pickup.
-
You could probably get $900-$1200 . It looks extremely clean. Like armybmbsqd, I'd rather the I6. If i had the cash I'd consider buying it form you. I'd put it on Craigslist for $1200 and see what you could get for it.

Not that I know of. I've been to Montgomery City a few times, but I'm not real familiar with the area. I went and look at a Manche up there about 3 months ago. It had nonexistent rockers and a tree had fallen on the bed.

Welcome! Nice clean truck. What part of MO are you in? I'm in St Charles/St Louis area. Seems like every body in MO find extremely clean trucks except for me. All the ones I come across are rusted beyond repair and cost an arm & a leg.
