I just did this to a pair of ill painted wheels. Brake cleaner worked pretty well. But then i tried gasket remover... holy hell, ate the paint right off in seconds and didnt damage the chrome underneath -

Posted a video up on Youtube. My buddies and I mess around with music videos occasionally. One of them has netted quite a few brownie points as i made it for my then fiance. Anyways, posted up our Robot Rock video last night. Just goofing around one saturday, tried to make an epic battle with buildup sort of theme. We never finished it because we all deployed and then moved stations, but its mostly compiled and still is a bit engaging. Besides, it features my previous manche' in it. Oh how i miss it. don't forget to watch in 720p

I am on my second 86 with the 2.8L. Been great so far, never had a hickup besides replacing a water pump. last one was still strong with 105K and this one only has 65K but has absolutely no leaks and burns no oil. I'm all for it!

Thats too funny. I just got rid of my expensive car because i enjoyed driving beaters too much... too worried about it

Ok so i had another thread talking about claybars but i might as well just start an ongoing thread. I'm always doing something. anyways! instead of claybar i decided to mess with polishing compound, and Meguiars Ultimate Compound. Results were excellent. The bed is a bit dusty, but of course, unnecessarily waxed. 1986. 62K miles. 98% Mint. Mien went out driving down the road. Just cruising along, no difference in performance, but looked down and saw the temp guage was as hot as it could get. Stopped it, filled it with water, drove it home and changed it that day. easy stuff!

Did you pick this up from Seattle craigslist? i recognize it! If this is the one i've been eyeing this for a while, its been on CL for... oh months now. Good find! -
My herculiner lasted a good 2 years before flaking. but anytime i put something in the bed and it shifted, it definetely left gouges in the rubber parts. Either way looked better than how it started. Thanks for the pics!

And whats funny is i just completed a drive from Gig Harbor, Wa to Leavenworth, Wa (286 mi round trip) and saw approx 6 Comanches. All driving. This is the Mecca i say.
