Wasnt there a guy making stepside beds on his restos?

I see why you had problems I punched the number in at crown, rock auto and others it shows a picture of the old pressure bottle from up by the firewall??? I know what will happen if I order one and the only place that shows the right picture is quadratec and after what you went thru I am a little afraid to order from them. Not sure where to order from.

If you want to stop it for good and are going to pull the cover anyway get a newer style cover. I have fought this before many times then I found a thread on installing a newer style 4.0 valve cover. Mine is from a 2000 cherokee 4.0 not sure what the cut off is in years but the newer style have a full length baffle in them instead of the 2 single towers that are in yours. You will need the bolts and groments from the newer cover and a gasket for the newer cover also they cost more but are worth every penny as they are also a much better design. I had to redo and adapt some of the hoses to the newer cover also I think you change the one fitting in the manifold to a larger one. I will try to find the write up.

Thats what I was wanting to know and since I heard no comments on safety I guess that there ok to use.

I had a set of aftermarket rims on my 89MJ they were outlaws I think. I liked the way they sat out of the wheel well just looked better. I thought I had to sell my MJ and a friend wanted the outlaws so I swapped him some newer Cherokee wheels. Now I want the same look with the factory wheels will a spacer do this and are the safe? Also I see there are diffrent sizes anyone know what combination would make the front and rear stick out the same and look the best.

I am looking for a rust free 97 up Cherokee I am in central Pa. and tired of rust. Can some one give a idea what a rust free 125,000 mile range XJ would run in the Virgina Maryland area would cost me or how hard it would be to find.

Glad you guys mentioned the stink as the house is attached thru a breezway to the garage so that would not work. I talked to a guy about running hot water pipes to the garage and he thought with infrequent use it would not be a good idea but could be done.

Anyone on here have any advice or opinions on one of these for a 2 car garage? I am trying to decide on a wall mount or a torpedo heater.
