I have heard that from others I am lucky my buddys machine shop is a stop so I can just give it to him to exchange. which is fine until you have to get something replaced. My local truckie is a complete d-bag to you if you haven't bought it from him. I can understand him not liking it as Snap-On charges him for any replacements, and he makes no money off them. But his attitude is so bad, I wouldn't buy anything from him anyway.

I have been getting some used snap on from swap shops and flea markets other that that its been a hard decision anymore. What was there .30 cent charge for?

If it belongs to a kit, my local store makes you bring the whole kit in to exchange. If not, they won't exchange it because they don't sell that piece separately. Kind of a dumb policy, just give me the new piece out of a kit on the shelf and send me on my way, its the same thing. I have heard this about harbor freight can anybody verify this? I am thinking the reason they do this is that if you lost a piece they can get out of replacing it.

WOW I did not even know there was such a nice jack anymore! can't afford one but it has me thinking my dad still has two a floor jack and a large bumper jack the one with two arms. They were his dads in his garage in the 50`s the floor looks like the Milwaukee maybe they can be rebuilt. Now I have another new project to mess with.

Sad day today at sears around 50% or more of the CRAFTSMAN tool line is all Taiwan and china now even there ratchets impact sockets and more. I can't afford new snap on or mac have some used that I bought second hand. All of the Kobalt is now China also and this stuff isnt really that cheap and the craftsman is not cheap at all. If my only choice is China crap its second hand or harbor freight it is china also but its really cheap to buy.

Rust free trucks do bring much more than a rust bucket from up here in the north. I would think $3000.00 range from what I have been seeing on ebay for clean trucks. Put the motor in and go up to 4000.00.

Glad your ok I was like that for years had about 6 wrecks in a couple years that were not my fault. I had a 72 power wagon was my first vehicle man do I miss that old thing its was a beast 4.11 gears and a 4 speed 318 3/4 ton with tall military tires on it. If I could find one that was decent I would replace the MJ.

I have a Colorado red tail gate not great but not bad either works as it should slight bend to it. Price is $50.00 if you can pick it up I am in 16686 in pa.
