  1. Good Deal!!
  2. When I got mine, in 2005, they PO had mounted a bar to secure the Spare in the bed, Driver Side. Was one of the first things to go. I squeezed a 33 under the bed.
  3. I had mine break last year. My Interior is Blue. Not that difficult to change over, to suit your needs. I have a Black Cover, should you need it. Or try this for a replacement..... http://www.ebay.com/itm/1987-00-1-Keyed-Floor-Console-Glove-Box-Latch-/252120067601?hash=item3ab386ee11:g:K18AAOSwqfNXiorq&vxp=mtr
  4. First, I would check with a LOCAL Shop. They may be able to help you with just what you want, Plus have small parts you may Need in stock. Bonus = No Shipping Charges. I did a quick Yellow Pages search, Found Busted Knuckle Suspension 1876 Nc Highway 41 W , Trenton, NC 28585 (910)320-5365 From what I saw on their fb page, they should be able to help you get just what you want/need.
  5. Not trying to do either. Just the way it was done, was what the guy wanted. That was his taste. There is NO WAY to Justify the $55K in the truck. We ALL Know This. It is a good laugh to some, a Disgrace to others. Like I had said, It is a nice Strip Racer. It just doesn't deserve to be Relentlessly bashed.
  6. The last time I looked up "Restored" it meant the it was Rebuilt to Original Specs. Most of the Body looks Restored, but that's all. The Listing states it as a "Restomod" Hey, I bet it is a Good, Unique truck, just not my style. With the Race Ready set-up, it is not cheap. But, the list of things about the truck, there is no mention of the Brakes being upgraded. I've seen guys get criticized about how they do they "Customized Ride" I Believe you are entitled to do your ride, the way you want it. Get Real.....How Many of us have a Truly Restored, Stock Ride?? Besides, $55K, probably went by the Mechanics Pricing for the work done. Most Mechanic Shops are getting close to $100/hr.
  7. Everybody is saying about 3 or 4 different Spring Companies. What ever happened with trying to find a LOCAL to YOU Shop??? I was about 20 miles from a Reputable Shop, Offered Guarantee for a Correct Fit. Cost was about $500/pair. I have NO Complaints about them.
  8. Hey Outlaw, I get what you are saying. Here is what I got from the Question I Posted, about "Rules"...... Just Curious.....As to What the "Rules" of this Page are. Trying to Stay in Good Standing. Jeffrey S Bordner No advertising. No buy and sell, No belittling or bullying. August 19 at 11:32am Leslie Hoops No cussing, no foreign beer. Lol August 19 at 2:27pm Brian J Bonkowski No Macarena. No Tofu. And if you do Bedazzle, make sure its in good taste. August 19 at 3:43pm Ed Hopp Is ANY of this posted Anywhere within the page?? I Prefer Yuengling Lager Bottles. August 20 at 7:49am Leslie Hoops Don't tell anyone until we check the list. August 20 at 10:25am Jeffrey S Bordner I prefer cold beer. August 20 at 2:59pm Jeffrey S Bordner Yes it's on the group Info for tab. August 20 at 12:11pm Ed Hopp OK, I have tried to find them. Would you send me a Link to them?? I did a Rules Search, All I found was your Comments about a few Rules. No Complete List. August 21 at 10:50pm Jeffrey S Bordner See my first comment. That is the list. Participation in any of that can lead to being removed, at the Admin, Moderator, discretion. Its a public group, your post must also meet facebook guidelines. Membership is limited, and there are hundreds of others asking to join. Very simple rules. Any post that you might think is borderline probably is. My advise is to avoid any post that might resemble one of those I described in my first comment. Thats it. August 21 at 11:28pm I am about fed up with the petty Bullcrap there. Seems as you can't call anyone out on being a Complete Idiot, without getting the boot. Not to mention all of the Stupid things that get posted.
  9. It Appears that Jeffrey S Bordner,Veronica Renae, Dom Stacks, Steve Deloyde, Kristopher Bowers, Christy Kilgore, Mark Baumann, Nathan Mailloux, Travis Goodwill, Bobbi Jo Teel, Travis Toborg, Chad Smith, David Chastain, Eric Sennert, have all Added New People to the Page. Jeffrey S. Bordner has added the Most and seems to be Supreme Commander of it all. I am going to Attempt to find out what the Rules are, to stay in Good Standings on there. I Honestly don't care too much, should I get booted off. The page seems to have drifted too far from what it was, when I had joined there.
  10. There must have been a Big Mistake, when they sent you those Springs. I can understand you wanting the Flex. But with 1" You should not have needed to change the Shackles. From your Picture, it looks like you have alot more that 1" of Lift with the Springs. I would press the Issue you have, find out why you have so much lift. I am getting a set on new springs, for my 89, from a local shop. Metric Tonne set with a possible 2" Lift. The shop has a Great Reputation, with many companies. I have asked many questions about the springs I want. None of the Springs will require my getting a "Flex Shackle"
  11. What colors are the Shirts Available in?? I'll need XXLT
  12. Are you running with SOA or SUA set-up?? With the amount of lift you have from the Springs, I, Personally, would not feel good about having those "Flex-Shackles" on there. That is just my Judgement of Geometry.
  13. Pete, I would like to get a ComancheClub hat. Need to replace the really faded & worn jeep hat. What do you need??
  14. The Mounting of the XJ is quite different from our MJ's.
  15. OK. I am feeling perplexed. I have an 89 MJ Pioneer 4x4 For the Life in me, I Cannot Remember what tools I need to Remove the Caliper Slide Bolts. Who can Help??
  16. Just what I was looking for!! Thanks Guys!!!
  17. Checked their MJ Stuff. Nothing like what I am looking for.
  18. Some time ago, I remember seeing a number of different pairs of Plates, for Reinforcing the Frame. Starting at the back of the Cab going to the Rear Bumper. Does anyone know where or who these can be gotten from??
  19. Stengel Bros. Spring, on Sumner Ave in Allentown, Pa Will Make ANY springs you want, Plus they get it Right the 1st Time!!
  20. There are a bunch of different Bumpers, just have to search for what you like. Here is 1 I found, and like the Base Bumper, will add Upper Tubes after I get it. http://www.nates4x4.com/XJ_Cherokee_Recessed_Winch_Bumper_p/xjrw.htm
  21. Get in touch with a Spring Company close to you. I went to Stengel Spring, Sumner Ave in Allentown, Pa. Got in touch with them, found that they make the spring packs & curve them themselves. I got a Quote for a set for the Metric Tonne, with an Additional 2" lift, $540/pair. Found going Local is better for Cost & Accurate Parts. Parts & Shipping made the Springs More Expensive.
  22. What year is your MJ??? Was your Computer Replaced??? Never heard of a STOCK Mj with the Second Gen of the OBD Computer.
  23. I Modified this panel for the 2 Light Switches. Yes, I used 1 for 2 sets of Fog Lights. The wire I used, from behind the Grille, was a wire with a 1/4" Female Spade Connection. Used a Test Light to Verify when it had power & where it was under the dash.
  24. Get the Replacement Headliner, unless you want your head to feel like it is in a Broiler, as you are driving. As for the Bedliner, there are several out there, I like the Rhino, for the Colors, thickness & warranty. There are a number of Liners for you to Apply. I have used POR15 paints, They work great, as described. Whatever you do for the Bed, Do the Prep Work, as the Instructions Say.
  25. When I went to do the Wiring for mine, I found a wire, from the Wiring Harness, which was for the Fog Lights. Ran from there. I got a Factory Switch, to use in the Dash. Ran New Wiring & Relays (I have 2 sets of Fog, 1 set Driving Lights) Used the Factory Switches & Locations on the Dash, All worked Fine.
