MancheKid86 replied to shelbyluvv's topic in MJ Tech: DIY Projects and Write-Ups
just did this the other day, took about 30 mins, over 20 mins of that time was on that little clip :fs1: only thing i did different was used a 6" c clamp and held the lock plate down, because the screw driver was damaging it. also used the part listed above by $500MJ, worked like a charm -

that box is way too big, i bought a box online, turns out the i knew the guy who was selling it :rotf: its 40" L 8" W 13" H i will take pics of it tomorrow  it is fairly simple to build a box, get the sub you want, go online and find the proper cubic feet need for the box, from there its simple, just do the math on the dimensions to get the proper space needed, ive built a few, but i don't have the money tools or even the supplies to make one, to make it even simpler check this out http://www.ajdesigner.com/speaker/index.php  -

Fixed some things...now click, click, click
MancheKid86 replied to ParadiseMJ's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Really? First I've heard of that notorious fault. So how does the neg terminal somehow lose its ground/connectivity by being over tightened? Are there torque specs for this? has happened to me with 3 diff neg terminals  and i have seen this issue with other jeeps on the local bcjeepclub forum ;) not to sure how it does it, but it does, thats why the "some how" comes into play -
