  1. also, they may or may not be made quite right.
  2. that's not safe in the event of an emergency.
  3. that's about 1/3rd of the parts necessary to properly lift an MJ that high. You still need longer control arms, longer track bar, longer sway bar links, longer brake lines, (and lose the drop pitman and put the original back).
  4. how did you lift it? which kit or what parts did you use?

  10. what are you doing for gears? how will you be using the truck?
  11. I bought it years ago. it's pretty wussy, but it does the job. dropped the sunvisors down too far for my 6ft frame and so I trimmed the visors a bit.
  12. on my overhead shelf
  13. as the others have said, ground clearance under the axles is one thing, but as soon as you leave perfectly flat ground, approach/departure and breakover angles are important too.
  14. what are you doing for gears? how will you be using the truck?
  15. life played some pretty good jokes on me yesterday. the best was when I woke up and my computer had shut itself off and wouldn't fire back up. but later that day it was all back to its normal slow self. :dunno: or maybe the best was when I pulled the brakes off the van and pieces fell out. I had an inkling that the rears weren't doing much. worse than I thought though. :fs1:
  16. it's so little as to be unmeasurable. (meaning that you would never be able to make up the cost of the posilok in theoretical gas saved) don't sweat it. the CAD was a mistake that Jeep eventually rectified.
  17. save your money. the fix is free. :D viewtopic.php?f=9&t=18415
  18. it was an emergency thing done early in my moab trip, but the catch can does in fact work. :D I suggest the valve cover fix first.
  19. ford 44 front, 9" rear with the HI-9 center section and disks. CTMs, 4.88s, and selectable lockers (posi/locked front, open/locked rear)
  20. anyone have an idea if the new firefox uses more or less memory to run? it's a real concern with my old computer. :(
  21. are you positive? I'd really like to get this straight once and for all. :(
  22. they should raise your truck up about 2" higher than now.
  23. usually myself. but in this case the original poster.
