3300 is an awful lot for the 2.5L/4speed/2wd.

The only reason I went this direction is because; the project truck is 2 WD, The TJ axle was low miles, geared right and $250. I'll spend more than that to regear the 30 in the donor Comanche. It's a gas miser w/ 3:31's and has 200,000 miles on it so that would be an easy $5-600. I posted the article for the tech not the process, and really not the price tag. I really don't need a locked front axle. I just don't understand how the same axle used in a Jeep TJ with very good results can be considered so bad for a Comanche destined for the same type of operation. If I had that kind if dinero I'd get (2) 9" Currie axles set up for the Comanche control arms and SOA. You'll have to forgive Eagle as he can be a little, um, blunt sometimes. But believe me, he only wants the best for you. I think he feared you were going to do the swap as described in that article, which is insane. But if you've got an axle lined up for a decent price and it has the right gears, I'd say it would be a good candidate.

bump. Somebody go grab their camera!

I'll have to hunt that down. It's somewhere in the external harddrive. Not sure how big it is or what the quality would be.

Through 90 should be compatible with the least amount of effort.

So that's it? The USPS lost everyone else's?

So Ray isn't all about the big speaking roles, eh?

Sweeeeet.... :D I heard rumors about an A-team movie too. :brows:

Careful what you wish for. I actually prefer an open diff in the snow. A posi just makes the truck's tail spin around and fishtail. If you're playing in the snow that's off the road, may I suggest a pair of tire chains. :D They work great!

What hat? I get to keep the sample hat. And I'm sharing it with my dog. :D -
I have the following items available almost any time. To order, just send me a PM with your name/address, what you would like, and if you're paying with paypal or a MO/etc through snail mail. (Custom colors for the 40", 12" and logo decals are possible with some limitations. Send me a PM and I'll see what I can do.) 40" long "ComancheClub.com" windshield decals in white (applies to the INSIDE of the windshield to avoid being destroyed by the wipers) price: donation 12" long "ComancheClub.com" decals in white (applies to the outside of a surface) price: donation 10" long "Logo" decal. price: donation 3x5" stickers with the truck in red, USA, Canadian, and Camo paint jobs price: donation Fridge magnets (red/gray) with the CC logo price: free! (limit 1) Business cards for handing out to MJ owners you meet.(black and white with a cool raised/textured printed surface) price: free! (no limit) Can Coozies: good ones too. :D made from neoprene and they are collapsible. holds both bottles and cans of your favorite chilly beverages. I have a few hats left over too: How to order: everything is available on a donation basis. I'm just trying to raise funds to cover our yearly expenses and the costs of the stickers and stuff. If I do raise more than my costs so far, all extra monies will go towards future years and decals so I can stop using my own money. I know plenty of us have very little cash to spare, but being broke is no reason you can't have decals. Send whatever you like and I'll mail you whatever you want of what I have here. When I run out of anything, I'll get more. The graphics store is right down the street (I'll just have to deal with their incompetence again). Everybody gets some business cards to hand out. Since we've already had one issue with spammers, send me your addresses through a PM or an email and I'll reply with mine. I can also accept through paypal. --------------------------------------------------------- How to apply: One way I've found for mounting the 12" decals is: clean the surface thoroughly with windex. -Then place it where you want and make sure it's level (do NOT assume that the bottom of the paper is parallel with the letters!) -tape it above and below the center with masking tape. -then pull up one side and peel back the backing. -Tear it off and slowly push the decal down, making sure to push out any bubbles with your thumb. -Now half of the decal is adhered and you can remove the masking tape and do the same for the rest. another method for the stickers: Clean the surface thoroughly. Then soak the surface with glass cleaner. Remove the backing and apply the sticker to the wet surface. Move the sticker where you want it and then dry the area directly above and below the sticker. Use some masking tape in this area to keep the sticker from moving around. Now use your thumb to push the liquid and bubbles out to the sides. You can probably leave the tape in position until the sticker dries and adheres, but I just removed it carefully so the sticker doesn't move around.

Yes. Works pretty good. Only a few ads I've had to kill since then. But once you right-click and block the ad, it doesn't come back. Although on some websites they have a revolving list of ads for a specific location on the page and I had to block each one individually when I saw it. -

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865 You'll need to upload adblocker, upload the file library of common ads, and restart firefox. Although not necessarily in that order. -

Get firefox and use the ad-blocker add-on and those ads will disappear forever. -
2.5Ls and 4.0Ls use completely different transmission and they are not interchangeable.

The stock MJ interior harness has 3 modes, off, on (switched at the light itself), and switched on with the doors. The "always hot" wire should be capped off. Use the other 2. -
