  1. I have no need for it. At least not on my 88 MJ. It can't go fast enough. :D
  2. Make sure your computer is accepting the site's cookies.
  3. Sometimes a bad socket in the turn signal lights can cause weird issues in the cluster lights. Not sure if that's your problem since the issue arose after swapping in the new cluster.
  4. I watched them like a hawk. 8) But I've had the other tire places screw up stuff too, so I can't say they are actually any worse.
  5. Some of us prefer it upside down. :D
  6. Just wait til you discover the spell-check feature and then explore the various add-ons. My favorites are "Forecastfox", "Map+", and of course, the super-duper awesome "Adblock plus".
  7. And I guess I should have said mine were 5 dismounts, mounts, balances, and 4 disposals.
  8. When I go to search, I see the option of "Topic titles only ". Is this what you're lookiong for?
  9. I had 5 tires mounted and balanced (plus 4 disposals) for the Libby for under 50 bucks at Walmart.
  10. Also, keep in mind that if something fails on the street and someone is injured, you're liable.
  11. Can it really be that simple? I have the exact same problem and i also use a fram filter! Its about time for an oil/filter change anyway so i will definetly try it. Yes, It can actually be that simple. Good for us; Bad for fram. for some reason, Fram has some issues with the filter we use. I too almost lost my engine to a fram.
  12. Yeah, Walmart was less than half of what Belle Tire quoted me. I'd recommend paying a bit extra and get the lifetime balance deal.
  13. I don't know what to do. The images are there. Not only do I see them when I switch styles, but I seent hem if I go in to edit them. Have you guys rebooted your computers lately?

    Gas prices

I just talked with my parents on the phone and they recently saw 1.99 at a station in Tennesee (they are on their way down to Georgia coming from Detroit).
  15. The book is correct. Timing is not adjustable. It is set and adjusted wholly by the computer.
  16. No need to apologize. Thread hijacking is a favorite club pastime.
  17. Good thing it's not plugged in then. :D
  18. That part is called the Fuel Pump Ballast Resistor. It's purpose is to lessen the voltage getting to the fuel pump and thus lower the fuel pump's speed and thus lessen the noise it puts out. In 87 Jeep had a bunch of complaints about the fuel pump noise and the resistor was their fix. Usually when the resistor goes bad, the truck will fire up, and then die in a couple seconds as the computer switches fuel pump power from a direct line over to the resistor. But now that you've said it, it sounds perfectly plausible that it could be the culprit in trucks with poor fuel pressure. Thanks!
  19. Maybe later. Although, we don't really get a ton of traffic.
  20. Now that I have this new found power, I may switch up the logo every once in a while or making a moving gif or something. So many choices... :ack:
  21. Victory is mine! I've managed to change the colors on subsilver2. But I didn't actually change subsilver2, I made a new one and called it "subgreen" and then made it the default style. Anyone that misses the bright blue shades we've been starting at for the last few years can still go back into their setting and change it back to subsilver2. I'm not going to. That blue has burned into my retinas. :(
  22. Which are you looking at?
  23. You need the broadest surface area you can muster. Really big tires help, but I've seen Jeeps on stock car tires do awesome in the sand when aired down to 10 psi. A really aggressive tire works ok in the sand, but if you give it too much gas, it'll dig a hole right quick. A less aggressive tire is more forgiving in this respect and is the preferred sand tire for normal rigs.
  24. 3.07 gears + any tire size above 29" = suckage.
