if it's "all over" it very well could simply be a valve cover leak. those have been known to get bad and will deposit oil all over the engine.

where is the oil leaking from? rear main seal?

gears are generally the answer to power woes. But rebuilding the 4.0 into a 4.6 stroker has been done too. run some searches for stroker and you'll find plenty of info. Check out the stroker website too (with I can't think of offhand but you should find it on here in one of the stroker engine threads) :thumbsup: what are you running for axles?

350 engines can be very hard to cool in an MJ. we have a small engine bay and a small radiator opening. also, be prepared to kiss the rest of your drivetrain goodbye. :D Why are you typing in all capital letters? sending via a phone?

the canister stores vacuum energy for the HVAC system. The charcoal canister is what absorbs fumes from the gas tank.

I reeeeeally like the CRD in my family's Liberty. that's a sweet engine. :D Sir Sam is working on putting one into an MJ right now.

nothing wrong with a divorced case. Plenty of wheelbase under there.

There was a guy down in (I think Alabama?) that swapped a Mercedes diesel engine into his MJ. Lost the truck when the ocean claimed the coast. :(

huh? he wants 100 for the bellhousing?!? or is there a transfercase involved here? If it's from a 90 and it's a manual, and it came from behind a 4.0, then it'll be an AX-15 (and you will need the bellhousing). but that doesn't make any sense that he wants so much for an internal bellhousing. :hmm:

I'd like a shot of the rear axle, and some underside photos showing how the flares flow into the body skirting. And I'm very serious about my offer of driving up there. :thumbsup: I'll snap all the pics and he won't have to do a thing. :D

Nope. one blew up and was made into art, and the other was simply hauled away for scrap (2wd and had issues).
