  1. no prices. everything is on a donation basis.
  2. I've learned a bit more about what happened. seems our old version was one iteration too old to be a simple update. The guy that did it thought he had everything licked, but as y'all have found, there are some glitches here and there. problem is I haven't found the solution quite yet.
  3. paypal ID: comancheclub@hotmail.com If everyone threw in just 5 bucks I'm sure it'd make a huge difference in his life right now.
  4. VIN? Did it still have the body kit? How much if you sent me the glovebox door with the tag on it? Rob L. Didn't get the VIN. Every piece of the body kit was trashed. The glovebox didn't have the tag. But I could see the outline of where it was before someone snagged it. I'd probably still get the body kit pieces.
  5. if I had written it yesterday, this post would have been a simple update on our annual website/hosting fees (only went up a few bucks even though we overshot our bandwidth by a bunch) and a reminder to anyone that wanted to donate a few bucks, but I got some bad news this morning. Rick (xjs4ever) had a real bad garage fire yesterday and lost pretty much everything inside (thankfully no people or pets or MJs were harmed and it didn't spread to the house). home insurance will not be covering anything. So in lieu of any donations for the website, I ask that you divert what you would have sent to me to him instead. Although you can still go through me using the club's paypal account since I doubt he's got one. If you want to go snail mail, you can send checks to me to tally up and send him a single MO, or PM me and I'll give you his address if you want to send him cash or a money order (or even old tools if you want since I get the impression he's got nothing now). I feel helpless 1000 miles away unable to even help clean up the mess and I want to do something. Working 2 jobs, I know he doesn't have time for this disaster. :( To any Colorado people near Denver (he's in Parker), I imagine that he'll be needing some help in the near future so be sure to offer your assistance if you can. and to everyone here, make sure you know for sure what your homeowners or rental insurance covers!!
  6. did you burp it out the temp sensor?
  7. server isn't mine. fry away!
  8. meh. I get that all the time when towing with the KJ. the headlights are on par with the late 90s Rangers and a couple other models that seem a bit too bright, and the trailer is juuust enough to bring those not-so-low beams up into people's eyes. I simply flash the brights back at them. :D
  9. oh wow. that looks amazing!
  10. I don't know of any European carpet makers either. :dunno:
  11. if you have access to an inferred thermometer they are a great way to track the heat (or lack thereof) in a cooling system. could be that you have an air pocket in your engine that needs to be burped out. but more important, you need to find where that coolant has gone. any evidence of leakage? under the waterpump? under the rad hoses? heater box? (probably the worst case scenario)
  12. cherokee carpet can be made to work with a little massaging and careful trimming if you can find one in a junkyard.
  13. what he said. did you find anything yet?
  14. that seems excessive, but as long as it works and makes you happy, nice find. better than paying a smaller amount for something that doesn't work.
  15. what's the pattern look like if you pull up to a wall or garage door? maybe they just need to be tilted down a smidgen. :dunno:
  16. Rubicon Unlimited ftw! :D
  17. you can't body lift an MJ. a 2" lift is much cheaper than a 3" lift and you can run either size tire with either size lift as long as you stick with Jeep rims (31s might rub a small amount on the lower control arms with Jeep rims). for 31s on aftermarket rims, you'll want 3" or some fender trimming.
  18. find the slop in the front suspension and steering and replace those parts.
  19. which two tubes? metal tubes? you might be speaking of the tubes that branch off to the pressure tank that sat up by the firewall.
  20. not only would you likely not see any benefit over new copper plugs, some guys have had the 4.0 get worse with non-copper plugs. :(
  21. a-yup. I'll just scoot the line-in-the-sand over a bit and be an enabler for your OCD issues in addition to mine. :rotf:
  22. plain ol' copper plugs.
  23. yup, looks good to me.
