I do not know what info your looking at but our body man at work cuts tempered safty glass all the time for the boats. we actualy used a 4" angle grinder to shave some off the edge of a window he cut and did not fit in the 38 foot boat I steam just last month. so maybe tempered glass for a boat is different then street use but, I had to ask my bro that has been cutting glass and doing upolstery for over 35 years now and says its not that big of a deal with the right tools for cutting glass. but hay the info found on the internet is aways right...... right?

thanks eagle and yes the flare thing made me laugh. oh and the rimes. here in atlantic Canada they stop them in 90 as a stock item. the others were options. any bace modle came with the 15x6 steel ones called rallye wheels. lol

looks like a miss print to me. but may not be woth anything. I have a dime size nickle. That is a nickle that is printed on a dime. its worth a hole 7 cents. was a missprint from the mint in 82 or 83. they think their is about one hundred in cirulation and its value is 7 cents. I can't understand it that it's worth less then the en cents it was supost to be but what ever. I keep it as a convo pice with the other strange stuff I find. like the 1 cent governoment cheaque. I was paid wrong so they sent me a cheaque for a penny. I was told that it cost about 60 bucks in man hours and the cheaque itself to make. lol I would take pics but I have a crappy camera with the wrong date so no point. Take the penny to a dealer and see if they can help.

yeah I understand and he has had the truck for years he said and the x under the comanche on the fender was on it when he bought it. he also said that a friend had one years ago aswell. I wounder if it was a dealership thing. around here the dealerships are always doing things to vehicles as a promotion. I remeber a 87 honda I bought once new that had seats out of a accord and strips that said special on it, the dealer did this to about 10 of them to incress sales.

I was just reading this and was going to let you know that my brother would cut one for you and as far as the seal. you can buy a roll of seal from any glass shop and cut it to leanth when installing. we do it all the time here. the off roaders here are always breaking glass. I smaked a branch yesterday in the xj when I was down back playing in the snow cought a rutt and slid on some ice off the trail. by by windshild......oh well good thing I have afew extra part.

Has anyone seen or know of a modle called X? this is f/s realy cheep. The ad reads as followed (1986 Jeep Comanche X ,orginal 2.8L V-6,5 speed ,sun roof,fender flairs,ralley wheels,aluminum tailgate protector) I looked around the web but could not find any info. any help would be great. Welcome my 89 5 speed 4wd has all gages and the 90 auto on the tree has gages bench 4wd on the floor. they are both pioners. the 91 eliminator I am looking at is 4wd auto on the floor bench and has all gages aswell. its a jeep thing. they put on the truck what was in the line to be put on. nothing is in stone.

That is on mean loking clean MJ. I can only hope that my junk looks that good when I am done.

that is a great looking rig. I hope and we all do to have a clean looking truck like that. As for the decals if he can not get them for yas let me know. He ships world wide. does all kinds of pait job for people around the worls and the stickers would be nothing to make.

going to block up the 89 off the tires, put the rims and tires on the 90 and a starter, fan pulys, ideler pully, and what ever elts it need so I can see if I can get the old girl going and take it for a run in the woods. I have not driven it yet so should be a fun time. I will post later after I have done it. But first my wife said fix my car so I can get out of your way. her mx 3 blew a oil seal the other day when it was -30 and she did not let it warm up enough before she went to the bank. :fs1: I hope its an eazy fix so I can work on the jeep. wel after about 2 hours on the garge floor in -20 I could still not see where the leak on the mx3 was commingfrom. decided to spend the money and take it to the garge on monday. ahhhhhhhhhhh

yes that is the best info I have found yet. I just wounder how long the batterys would last up here in the -30 weather we get. Like for the last 3 days now. Burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr it cold

norton and someother thing. I had pop ups and all kinds of nasty stuff. I was not on any other sites just turned on the laptop and pulled that open. and WHAM. I have the file saved on here as the antivirus told me to. it could not repair it.

Well it has come that time that I get something done to the mj's as the xj is running well for the time being. I started up the old bue 89 that has a rusted frame and man I want so bad to fix it but think it maybe beond repair. it starts and runs great, has the limitted slip in the back in that d44 and even not in 4wd was creeping through the 1' of snow in the back yard like nothing was in it way. I will have pic's soon on this prodject. does anyone think that it is worth cutting the frame off one truck and putting it on another? the reason I want to do this as the frame that is on the truck has been patched and re patched. its just gone. From what I was told the motor was a dealer swap out for a new one 10 years back and only has 100k on it thats like 60,000 miles. just broken in. it does not even leek oil. lol :clapping:

DId I ever get a nasty viurs when I opend that link. I am no computer guy but the thing shut down my laptop and then came back on and told me to store the viurs for later so that maybe an update can get rid of it. DO not open link above................... :headpop:

sounds great. I do not know if you have seen this but look at this link. I have been toying with it bit around here it will be a year or 2 befor I can start.
