For the Free Square.. I have the solution. First.. Get a cart.. it could be your only form of defense... and.. it can carry all your "Made in China" loot. Next.. Place your foot (right or left.. but not both) on the bar that runs across the bottom of the cart. Then.. with great force.. Grab the handles and Pull back.. then let go.. The Cart(Buggy if you so choose to call it that) will then slam to the floor with a BIG bang.. people will take notice.. if not.. repeat as needed. Also if in a location where applicable.. Loudly say "So I was talking to Bob.. You know him.. he works with me at the Immigration Office".. Will clear 2-3 aisles in record time. Personally.. I do my wal-mart shopping at 2-3am.. Only pot heads and insomniacs at that time.. and the leave me alone being as I am 6'4" and 340lbs.

Found more stuff on the truck today. Drove it 2 miles to my dad's best friends house.. no isssues. Did some other things.. came back. drove to my dad's. 1/4 mile. Then ran to get some crap he bought and needed a truck to move. Truck overheat's Steam.. hiss.. ughh Pop my hood.. find the Water Inlet gasket is leaking. Not a bad deal.. cheap part.. and to the t-stat while there.. pickup the t-stat.. gasket. gallon of Peak anti-freeze.. 2 Battery connectors (other project I need to do soon) and head for dad's.. It cool's.. we work on the bass boat. Go to pull the easy bolt on the water-inlet.. it snaps. Get the bottom bolt out.. inlet is rotted bad. Call Checker.. They got it.. $11.00.. run for that.. Dad ended up bending the stuck bolt but got it out.. No damage to the block. Put it all back.. fill with anti-freeze.. replaces some heater hose while in there working.. (always try to get as many "Little things" if if I have the tools out as I can) Took it for a spin.. 8 miles.. Mix of Surface and Highway.. never got over 180 (new T-stat temp) So.. new heater hoses.. New water-inlet.. Cleaned the Resivour out.. New t-stat.. none of this planned.. but.. all done.. Next Fri.. Dad and I head for the JY for our own "Black Friday Bargain Hunt" he needs some small stuff for the Ram.. and I want some interior MJ stuff. and maybe the tail light harness.. This week.. I hope to do battery cables one day.. maybe Thursday while wife and mom do turkey :D

NP man.. Like I said in my "Intro" post.. my Degree is web design/e-commerce and I work at a web hosting company. They give me a few toys.. but not the nice ones I have at home. The fix was actually done from work.. via remote to my home pc.. Yeah.. I'm a geek.. who uses my powers for the good of the awesome Comanche's that we all love. -
Last night.. was.. hell.. Went on lunch from work (2nd shift.. 3-11:30pm) and noticed I only had 1 headlight.. On my 2nd break.. bust out the trusty screwdriver.. Pull the headlight.. check the connection.. had a co-worker turn on the lights it worked.. great.. awesome.. Had noticed earlier in the day Temp gauge was high.. checked the reservoir and it was really low. I didn't think much and started home.. Overheated.. fast. Stop to put water in.. and started to unscrew the cap on the reservoir and it hiss's a bit.. so I sit.. wait.. unscrew another 1/10th of a turn.. wait.. wait.. wait.. and it's to the point where it's not hissing.. and not seeming like there's any water or pressure there.. so I reach up to spin it off :wall:  :dunno: .. BOOM.. CRAP.. Hand.. Hurt.. Burned.. Hand is burned.. but not bad.. no blisters.. feels like a sun burn from hell.. did get water in.. got home.. put ice.. then just room temp water on hand.. this morning.. 10 hours later.. feels like I have a sun burn.. and just mild discomfort. Going to use the Mustang for the day I think.. wife is off.. and after I get the "Gotta get done today" stuff done.. I am going to look at the truck.. Jeep has a cooling system.. that I have NEVER seen before.. time to read up.. Ohh and made the last 4 miles of the drive.. after putting water in.. with the cap off (Forgot it was sitting on top of the grill) and temp was ok.. but system was not sealed or under pressure.

Work in progress there.. and it's how your browser (Internet Explorer I am guessing) is reading the code.. in Firefox when it's about 8" or wider I get full text no side scroll. In fact Firefox renders it with no side scroll at any width more than about 6". Under 6" the navigation bar and images combine to make it to wide. I need to get some time to do the fix's. Busy with work.. and side work.. and working on the MJ. this weekend is the Miss Az pagent. Sister-In-Law is in it.. so that will by my sat night. Sunday.. Lake.. I hope. still need to get tail lights installed on the MJ.. PO hacked into the wiring.. so that my be a trip to the JY to get parts. who knows. -

I will get that fixed tonight.. Can't do it here at work as I Don't have Dreamweaver.. /edit FIXED.. slow at work.. and I have Remote to my home PC.. WOOT! -
Depends on where you head here in town.. By my house it's was $2.15 when I rolled by on my way home last night. south end of the city.. down in the "Hood" there's a QuickTrip selling for $1.97. I go where I can get it cheap. Having 2 cars.. running 5-7 days a week.. The MJ saves me money though. Wife and I are both 10 miles from work.. in opposite Directions. Use to take her to work then drive past the house and to work. Get off work.. drive past the house and pick her up to come home. Having 2 cars saves 20 miles a day that I was driving.

Had it.. kinda.. For about 6 months I worked at a small family owned computer shop. I was the tech. I fixed it. I built it. I worked on it. Computers.. Could have 6 at a time on my bench.. I could roll from one end to the other.. just Fix them and send them out. Owner was a friend of mine. I was not paid to be there. I just loved it and enjoyed what I did. Had a full time job that paid all my bills and then some. That changed and so did my time at the shop. So.. Now waiting on some more info from a friend.. looking at becoming a shop manager for his computer shop. Also applying for 2 Jobs here at my current employer tomorrow. First is Quality Assurance. The other is in our Search Engine Optimization Dept. both mean off the phones.. and more money.

I know what you mean, I have been on Pirate4x4 almost since the beginning (Jan. 2001) JeepsUnliminted since Aug 2000. For Mustang sites have you been to Hardcore50? I helped with graphics on some Dodge forum.. maybe it was Pirate4x4? or who knows.. and never been to hardcore50. Forums are about having fun.. sharing.. and general BS.. if you don't have that.. whats the point. I can deal with stupid people all day.. they pay me to do that.. when I have personal time.. I want to talk to cool people about cool trucks..

I post.. a bit here and there.. when I feel I have something to contribute.. or a legit question.. I don't mind being the FNG.. been on a couple of forums so long it's unreal.. one Gaming site since April of 2001.. I have over 8k posts. Another gaming forum since about 2003.. with over 4k posts.. DodgeTrucks.Org has me there since 2002 with just over 1300 posts. this place is much like DTO.. fun.. friendly and full of pertinent info on what I am looking for. I joined there when I got my 99 Dakota.. and when it got totaled.. I got the 2000.. and it got repo'd in the divorce to the ex.. I got the xB I got to stay around and snicker in my MPG that was twice theirs. That place is a great resouce for any Dodge Truck/SUV Owner Forums are something I enjoy. I have looked around for a good Mustang one.. and they are full of pompous @$$'s. so I don't join.. but seems Truck guys..and gal's are easy going fun people. So.. I'll back up my truck.. grab a Mt. Dew and drop the tailgate.. I am here to stay.

What's so great about a Comanche?
Qui Gon-Jinn replied to bilgamesh's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
It's a truck.. It's a jeep.. It's not a cookie cutter thing. I have yet to see another one driving on the streets.. and I have had mine 3 weeks. I bought it for 500.. got another 100 in it for tags and emissions and plates.. It's beat up.. but it's got one thing these new cookie cutter's don't, and that's character. I work on it every weekend.. it's my project.. my money pit.. and my mistress. It's a Me thing.. I enjoy having something to do.. when I don't want to do anything that requires dealing with people. After a LONG week of listening to people complain and yell at me on the phone.. the sound of just me and some hand tools working on the truck is very relaxing. -
that beer is from Cave Creek az.. about.. 20 min's from my apt. Rule 1.. Beer should not look the same going in.. as it comes out. Rule 2.. Good Beer will NEVER EVER Start with BUD and end in Weiser. Rule 3.. Banquet Beer.. is the cheap $#!& they only serve at your cousin's wedding and should not be drank daily Rule 4.. Natty Ice is Hillbilly Beer.. Drink it.. and you'll feel like you slept with your sister the next day. Good Beers are Dark.. Ambers.. or even the fabled Guinness Stout. (I have watched the certification Process for Guinness. Rather interesting) I have drank beer from places I have never been.. and places I never want to go. Some of the best stuff I have EVER tasted came from my buddies Kitchen.. It was so dark I couldn't see through it.. tasted like heaven and gave me a buzz half way through the pint. damn good beer. Currently I enjoy the Kiltlifter from the Four Peaks Brewery. It's local.. When in tx.. I get a Ziegenbach. As for other drinks.. 40 Creek Canadian Whiskey.. and Pendeltons. Both good stuff.

Adding to my weekend project list.. Was going to go to the Wally World and find something.. but.. that would be to easy.. and not custom.

You said your in Az.. I am in Phx.. and Know how to say "Quanto?" very well.. Need to get something going here in the Phx area for MJ/XJ People. I know my MJ would get "Ugliest Beast" but.. still cool to find people who share interests. I know I didn't buy my truck for the beauty. I got it for functionality and the price was right. It's going to forever be a work in progress. Someone offered me 1500 the other day and I shook my head at them.. They said I could triple my money. Didn't even think about it.

who designed the clutch master cylinder?
Qui Gon-Jinn replied to thejum57's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Just did this on my 87.. Best tip for cleaning the Fuse Block is to disconnect the battery.. put some paper towels on the floor board.. and spray the living daylights out of the fuse block with some contact cleaner that leaves no residue. let it dry.. do it in a well ventilated area.. make sure you let it dry though. I check mine daily for the last week and a half.. no leak.. no issues.. -
