  1. Sounds like what happened to you also happened to Eagle - blew out the load sensing valve on a panic stop. Hopefully he'll chime in here. Were the rears working okay until the panic stop?
  2. Yes, I'm interested Rob. Johnny, if you could call and find out how much they want would very much appreciate it. It's in Colton?
  3. Hell of a try Peter. Would the Hesco alloy head and 99+ intake help get you over the top? No idea what you have now.........
  4. Yep that sure looks like the air dam from a street comanche. If it wasn't in Cali I'd grab it. :D Johnnyc, can you pick it up for me?
  5. This is true. The cluster pinouts are completely different. Plus the tach and fuel gauge require different inputs. And unless you modify the sender in the fuel tank, your gas gauge will read backwards. What's the purpose of this? Just trying to use a 96 cluster that you have?
  6. 4.0 lower rad hoses with the spring are still around, but not from aftermarket sources. There are still a few OEM hoses around from the dealer, about $20, at least for the HOs. Don't know if the Renix hoses are the same. With a hi-flow water pump (as I have) I'd never have a lower hose w/o the internal spring. I tried a Goodyear "reinforced" rubber hose for awhile - it eventually collapsed and caused overheating while in hi-heat traffic, so I crap canned and found an OEM w. spring.
  7. Joe, it looks great pare. :D Unfortunately I'm still not sure how the decals would show up on my silver MJ. Spense got my address and said he would send some samples, but no joy yet. :(

    Air Dam

  9. You have a keeper there Brett. Any woman who's so insecure as to be jealous of a truck I don't want around. Give in once and next it will be your dog, guns, motorcycle, or anything else you spend quality time with.
  10. This is true. The Jeep HO (Chryco) NipponDenso alternators are regulated by the ECU. However they can be wired with an external voltage regulator and used in a Renix model. There are several writeups in NAXJA and other places where 134A Dodge or G. Cherokee ND alternators are used in a Renix model. Also, any competent alternator shop can rebuild your existing Delco alternator for much higher amperage output.
  11. These ppl rly don't give a damn Eagle; they don't mind appearing like idiots I guess. I'll just ignore these posts from now on. :rotfl2:
  12. You probably smoked your ignition switch and are getting no power to the PCM. http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=24838&hilit=ecu
  13. Your grammar be fine Fiat. :D The bezel is from a Laredo era MJ (p/n 5502 8370). The shift knob I had poured by a friend in clear, silver, and black epoxy w. a JeeP pin inside. Here's a crappy pic. It actually looks quite nice. I'll do a better pic tomorrow...... Image Not Found
  14. You said the magic word Rob, "factory". After prep, the undercoating is applied over the the raw uncontaminated metal and the process normally protects well and lasts indefinitely. I've always added the undercoating option if available to every new vehicle I have purchased. Of course, the process is much more refined now than it was 20+ years ago when our trucks were built. But having undercoating done by a third party shop after the fact 10 or 15 years later usually doesn't work, because they usually can't get in all the nooks and crannies to prep the metal properly. :smart:
  15. Thanks. Just noticed my carpet's getting a bit scurvy though. Have to pull it a clean it up when it gets a little cooler.........
  16. Could be your soft rubber hoses if you didn't replace them. Happened to me; new hoses firmed the brakes up nicely.
  17. :agree: Neither were the chrome bumper and grille AFAIK. But it's an export, so maybe? And all that stuff could have been added in by POs. Run the VIN. If it's truly a 91, I'd buy it.
  18. And did you check for 12V at the coil primary?
  19. Yep, I'd bet on it for sure. Dave's right - be careful mate. Do you know the VIN? I'd run it.
  20. The Gators might have a better chance now that Tbone is gone, but the Tide will roll again.
  21. Would look much better IMHO to lose the bottom feeder mouth on the front end and install a chrome grille. But with a 425HP 6.1 liter Hemi and all wheel drive, I could live with it. :D
