  1. I think there would be hole overlapping issues unless they were 2-piece adapters. And if they're not wheel and hub-centric, I don't want them.
  2. :clapping:
  3. Good axle. Only problem is the 6-lug bolt pattern that I do not want... . :(

Or just buy her jewelry. Can't miss with that.
  5. Agree. Would assume the emblem and the front license plate holder are removed on the speed runs? Prolly just an old pic.
  6. It's the plastic elbow (or straight in some models) connected to the booster vacuum hose that plugs into the booster grommet. The housing can be cracked internally. Usually removing it and doing a high tech suck and blow with your mouth can determine if it's AFU. :D
  7. Or the vacuum hose or check valve if you're lucky. But it's usually the booster internal diaphragm as mvusse says. :( Might be a good time to upgrade to the XJ or WJ dual diaphragm booster/master.
  8. Not necessarily the sender. Could just as well be the gauge itself or the wiring between the sender and the gauge. Do this before before running out a buying a new sender:
  9. Jim, you're a very sick man and need help. Respectively suggest you stop thinking immediately. But for sure you solved the gas guzzler problem on the V12.
  10. For sure no inner axle seals on the 91-92 MJ D35 c-clips Jim; wheel bearings are lubed by the diff fluid. Seal is outboard of the wheel bearing. My 91-92 FSM shows inner seals for the MJ D44 though, working inboard on out are the axle seal, wheel bearing, then the retaining ring. HTH.
  11. Addendume to Fiat's comments in CAPS: You're whining about minor problems. If you regret getting an MJ because of this, maybe you're not worthy. These are old trucks and need care. We'll help, but if you don't want to try, don't waste our time mate. The results you achieve are well worth the effort.
  12. The spindle on your 89 2WD is p/o the knuckle assembly; not available separately. The p/n for the right side knuckle assembly is 53002932. Good luck finding one except from the yard. Any 86-92 XJ/MJ donor will work for your application. Probably would not be a bad idea to p/u Brent's 2WD axle for future needs.
  13. Ah, what a great turkey day. I'm so full I can hardly drink another beer. Two traditions on every Thanksgiving are the great turkey dinners with all the fixins, and the Detroit Lions will lose another game. Been like since the Pilgrims. Sorry Pete..............
  14. Since my wife is from the Philippines, and there's no Thanksgiving there or even turkeys, but she and her sisters (who all live close by) have developed a turkey cooking procedure over time that beats the crap out of our fried/oven conventional methods. In the PI, they cook a young pig whole (called lechon) over a pit fire, slowly cooked and rotated for about three hours. The girls have all embraced our Thanksgiving, and along with the lechon baby pig they also rotate along with it a whole turkey wrapped in banana leaves we grow that kind of steams it in it's own juices and the smoke from the lichon adds more flavor. It's taken a few years for the girls to perfect this process, but dayem, it's by far the best tasting T-bird in the universe, even better than Momma's by far. They stuff the bird before wrapping with PI seasonings like lemon grass and tropical tamarind seasonings. MMMMM good........................ Happy Thanksgiving everybody.
  15. Did you get your battery load tested? I didn't see that anywhere.......
  16. You can reverse the polarity of the Renix sender removing it from the tank, disconnecting the wire that connects to the end of the winding of the float potentiometer and resoldering on to the other end of the winding. Then your HO fuel gauge will indicate in the right direction. http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=15936&p=163162&hilit=polarity+fuel#p163162
  17. Exactly - well said. However if upgrading the headlamps over the stock 55W it's highly recommended to upgrade the stock harness and/or run the circuit power through relays (one/ea for HI and LO beam). Your head lamp switch will thank you. :D And cicelyak, thanks for the compliment.
  18. I had this same problem awhile back. See this thread: http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=15706&hilit=door+weather+strip
  19. Agree. Walther's are my preferred handgun. My preference is the old school P38, the decades proven 9mm. Fast, accurate, and versatile. I have three P38s, and two PPK .380s. Mama and the daughters are all very good with the PPKs, a normally homicide or suicide aspirated handgun. Me too Jim.
  20. Agree with Rob concerning Autismzone (except for their Duralast batteries), but the 13.5VDC bulbs will work fine for your application. :D
  21. Only kidding mate. I love old Saabs and Volvos, but I don't think the guys here would get too excited about them. Know what I mean Vern?
  22. Nope. Not on this forum. We have better taste.
  23. Just for grins I looked up the latest state map I could find on the Castle Doctrine. No real surprises except out west WA stands alone in a sea of red. :D
  24. Alabama signed that into law on April 04, 2006 with a majority House vote of 82 to 9 and State Senate vote of 30 to 2. The NRA had a lot to do with it.
  25. Yep. That's all well and good, and I agree 100% and have many guns around the house. But with the current administration you'll probably be in more deep kimche than the intruders should you blow someone away defending your home. Unless you live in TX that is. :D Support the .
