  1. Holy Crap! 7,155px × 851px! What digital camera are you using Sam?
  2. AFAIK, the elusive temp sensor installed in an HO thermostat housing to control an electric fan has never been done successfully. There was one from a Corvette everyone was excited about but it never worked right. Lot's of posts on people trying this; never saw one that actually worked. That's why I used the SPAL PCM fan controller and used the temp gauge sensor out put to trigger the fan LO/HI temp offs and ons. Works well. I did a writeup on my dual electric fans setup in the DIY section here: http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=8342&hilit=electric+fan

  4. Si. Had to click on it to view the whole thing. :dunce:
  5. Loads about 1/8 of the pic then stops. :redX:

  7. How much more cable do you need Mike?
  8. First time I've seen a fart can on a Comanche. :clapping:
  9. Yeah, I don't get it. I think all wives are like that. Mine's into physical fitness; water aerobics and jogging around the neighborhood while I watch her go by sucking on a Miller. But she's GOT to park as close to the store door as possible. I don't get it. :fs1: Anyhow, I got one of those Ding King dent pullers awhile back and they actually do pop out about 50% of the dents. It's definitely paid for itself several times over. For dents it doesn't work on I wait until they accumulate then get them all done at once locally for not too many $$.
  10. My front end is starting to blind me at times, so I thought I'd tone it down as Gjeep did with his new 92 by painting the vertical chrome slots black. I used Krylon Fusion Satin and I like it a lot better. Thanks G.
  11. Just looked in my 94-96 parts manual. XJ mirrors for these could be had with either Fixed Heads or Foldaway Heads. Didn't know that.........
  12. 20.26 MPG confirmed on one tank of gas. Freaking amazing! Ever check indicated vs. GPS? Just curious.................
  13. 4.6 Hesco stroker, AW4, 31" tires, 4.09 gears. The Good: On a long trip, it drones down the Interstate at 75MPH / 2500RPM happy as hell and delivers 21MPG minimum, most of the time closer to 23MPG depending on the weather. The Bad: Around town, which is at least 75% of it's use, careful or not w. the skinny pedal, best possible is 15MPG, but usually it's 13MPG. And have been recording MPG for almost five years now. So screw it, I'm not careful w. the skinny pedal anymore and enjoy it locally.
  14. Not true grasshopper. Just installed some EBC disc pads on my bike as I could not find them anywhere else. EBC packaging, "Made in Taiwan" labeling. I think everyone "offshores" now just to stay in business.
  15. The 91+ HOs came with a NipponDenso alternator up and is regulated by the ECU. The puny Renix Delco alts are regulated by an external voltage regulator. There have been lots of swaps done by Renix guys swapping in the higher output HO alts into their rigs by wiring in an external regulator, but I've never heard of anyone using a Delco alt in an HO. To do this you would have to disconnect the ECU regulator and I doubt it would ever run due to the fault codes generated.
  16. Sounds like the "new" speakers caused an impedance mismatch in the head unit and blew out the final amp stage. What was the impedance of the "new" speakers?
  17. Damn, that's beautiful stainless plumbing.
  18. And how about Tim Thomas? God couldn't have scored on him last night. What a rags-to-riches story he is. He looks like Larry the Cable Guy and plays like the old Bruin greatest goalie ever Tony Esposito. Now if the Red Sox can pull the Series out................
  19. Wasn't going to mention that, but Vancouver seems to so this quite regularly, win or lose. :shake: :shake:   What's wrong with the cops? The punks have no fear of authority..........
  20. How sweet it is. First US based team to win the Stanley Cup on the road in :Canadaflag: in 82 years. Sweet revenge from last year.
  21. Yes, these are great little trailers. There's a guy down south AL who sells surplus USA trailers including the bantams down near Ft. Rucker. Was going to buy one, but for what I wanted to haul it was too small. You got a pretty good deal Rob.
  22. I grew up there too (S. Burlington) and used to ski at Bolton Valley and Stowe. Beautiful country, although too "touristy" now.
  23. In mid-1991 the factory sway bar end link length was changed from 7-1/4" to 8-1/4" on all MJs and XJs. If you have a small lift up to 3" you should use the longer end links to keep the sway bar end a bit farther away from the coils and orientated correctly.
