  1. Nope. The speedo, tach, and fuel gauge will not interchange between the two housings. Entirely different mounting points.
  2. First thing I did with the two JKs I bought new was replace the stock crappy shocks with OMEs. For grins I tried them on my MJ and they sucked on it too. But I know the Ruby shocks are better than the non-Rubys.
  3. Those are available even from the stealer @ about $25/ea. Cheap shocks indeed.........
  4. What were the Mopar part numbers?
  5. The 96 cluster is the same as the OBD1 clusters - that's what I have in my 91. And no, it's not going to play fully in your 90, if at all. Even if the connectors are the same the pinouts won't be. At best the temp and oil pressure gauges might work, and the fuel gauge will read backwards. You need a 1990 or below cluster for everything to play.
  6. You're missing the A/C relay (left side empty socket) and the ASR (Auto SHUTDONE-right side empty socket) relays. And I don't know WTH white relay you have in the aux fan fan slot. Get some correct relays in there from the junkyard and it just may work. EDIT: Never mind the above. The 92 PDC is different than the 91 (of course!); the 92 is below. So you are missing the ABS pump relay (3rd slot from left, don't need) and the A/C relay (4th slot, need). Put a relay in the A/C slot and it might work.
  7. Yes, by almost 6".
  8. This. I think you should get the aux fan working as it should before making modifications to it. Just for grins, start it up and see if you have the 12V at the relay coil. Also all the relays up top are the same - so try swapping the aux fan relay with another if you haven't already done that.
  9. Rent a serp belt tension gauge tool from Autozone or similar, use it, then memorize the force it takes to rotate the belt 90* with your fingers. Then you will have no probs with the next one.
  10. Not that I know of. Hesco has a good stroker web site here: http://www.hesco.us/forum/default.asp My early dyno charts are posted here: http://www.jeepstrokers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=387
  11. It's the 60A blue maxi fuse, the one on the left looking down at the PDC. This is for a 91 - your 92 may be different. But that's not your problem. If it was blown you would have a lot of other non-op electrical problems
  12. Yes yxmj, the standard 4.2 4-weight is used in their crate engines unless you specify differently. After installing my Hesco crate engine (not their kit) I had it dynoed to establish baseline HP/Torque specs so I could see what improvements (or non-improvements) my later bolt-ons would do. I noticed right off on the first run that I had a drivetrain loss of ~30% between the test stand engine HP/Torque specs and the actual at the rear wheels, which is pretty normal with the AW4. My original goal was to eliminate this 30% drivetrain loss with bolt-on upgrades. These included the 01 intake, bored throttle body, a Mike Leach long header, 2.5" dual exhaust system, Unichip, and some ignition and A/F stuff. Since Hesco is right down the road from where I live, I brought it down once a year or so to check the results. On the last run a few years ago I was up a 40% improvement over original, so I eliminated the drivetrain loss and then some. I was happy with that and haven't done much since except little stuff. The 01 intake was actually a 12 HP gain (at 3500RPM) which debunked the BS that the "horse shoe" intake did nothing and could actually degrade performance. All this is documented on the stroker forum. Unless you see the actual dyno results for what you're doing before and after, claimed improvements are nothing but BS. The butt dyno is highly over-rated.
  13. The F12 splice is a 12V ignition switched junction point fused by PDC fuse F8. You really need to invest in an FSM set for your 92. You can't troubleshoot effectively w/o the factory wiring diagrams.
  14. Probably no need to. We seem to now have a self proclaimed stroker expert now anyway. For stroker matters I only listen to people who have a running stroker with dyno results.
  15. Never asked him. :dunno:
  16. Well, technically, I have all the mods. Except for a supercharger.........
  17. I tried that and my mileage went in the tank - makes the engine run richer. Wasn't much of a performance gain either.........
  18. http://comancheclub.com/topic/16955-adjustable-mj-load-sensing-valve/
  19. Yep. Polished a lot of that stuff in my early Navy days.
  20. Possibly. He's got more dyno time on 4.6 strokers than anyone in the country. What would he know? I think Lee Hurley at Hesco has built and dynoed a few more than the above.
  21. The rubber gasket is a cleaner look. :shotsfired: Not for me. I have to have brightwork wherever I can.
  22. Is this an aftermarket item? Never have seen them before. It does look nice. Like a high molded nerf bar.
