Well, I sea foamed it, and I have to say I'm impressed. it dosent choke taking off anymore, gained more power, idles better and sounds better. put 1/4 in the Brake booster line and 1/4 in the throttle body and the rest in the gas tank. I'm gonna try it when i change my oil too. Thanks for the help guys!

Thanks for the responses guys Would you have to change the filter too? Or just do it before you have your schedule oil change? So would you recommend 2 or 3 cans? You didnt blow white smoke everywhere did you? :laughin: Ive never heard of it in the oil, does it help not smoke or something?

Are you wanting to make it an Auto or standard transmission?

I'm getting ready to sea foam my 86 2.5 and was wondering where the best place would be to pour it in, ive heard the 1/3 1/3 1/3, or Putting half in the vacuum lines and the rest either in the throttle body and gas tank. Anybody done it both ways or know the right way? Which had better results? Thanks in Advance

Right now I'm going to school for being an Auto Tech, and half of the stuff they are putting on cars today, is really complicated stuff. My MJ is one of the eaisiest vehicles that I have worked on. Compared to electric steering and all this other stuff.

Oh my goodness, and update! its been so long! The Eliminator is looking good. Is everything on it working out good now?

i already have a 401, the 360 i have is going into an AMX. 401parts a not that hard to obtain, its all in just where you look. Plus AMC v-8 are all the same size block. My 401 is gonna be a big street strip car, there is a guy that has an 401 supercharged running 16.5 lbs of boost with almost 950 horses. His AMX was running 9.00 sec 1/4 mile. Look at Summit Racing, they have a lot of performance parts for AMC. I stash AMC parts like a squirrel stashes nuts. I have a lot. 70 javelin, sounds like a nice one, is it completely restored? Got any pics? :brows:

If I hadn't broken my shoulder and lost my job, the longbox I just parted was going to get a 290/AX15/NP241 roklok with D44s front and rear and an extended cab. Sold the goodies to pay my bills and scrapped the dream. Dang, that would have been nice too.

I havent taken out the sending unit. I think it is from my freinds jumping around in the bed of my truck.

My gas gauge is messing up. It almost got me screwed when i ran out of gas and it still said that it had about a 1/4 a tank. Now i just got gas and it dropped from 3/4 of a tank to 1/4 of a tank in one day. I only drive about 15 miles a day. Anyone have any explanations? Thanks in Advance

stock jeep ravine rims from a wrangler

I'm wanting to put Ravine rims on my comanche. Its not lifted and didnt know if they would be rubbing at full lock. I know i can swap WJ control arms on and it will help. But if I were to put 235 75 R15 tires on it Will it still be fine? Just wondering if I can just put them on there and there be no rubbing. I'm gonna upgrade to 31's soon. Thanks in advance
