2 1/2 flowmaster 40.sounds good to me,probably not the neighbors in the morning.

i just done the browndog motormounts.i cheaped out and classic style which are alot harsher than stock.i suggest getting the softer of the two for an everyday rig.on the plus side i don't think i'll have to worry about them failing as they supposedly have a lifetime warranty.hopefully i'll have time to do the timing chain/gears next weekend.

i pulled mine out a while back.i didn't seem to help or hurt anything.

that's exactly what i'm talking about.does anyone know if new armrests come with the clips?

the difference in tanks is the 23 gallon uses 3 straps to hold it up and the smaller tank uses only 2 straps.

if you have the hockey style armrest there is a threded stud at the top of the armrest.when you take the 2 screws out of the bottom of the armrest you have to rotate the armrest to remove it,unless the clip has broke that sets on the threaded stud.it locks in a plastic insert in the door which i have new ones for.if you have a good one,i'll gladly buy the whole armrest(color doesn't matter at this point).

i've got the plastic clip that goes in the door.yes i do have the hockey style,i just need the metal clip that goes in the plastic clip.

when i do mine i comletely fill the tank then drive 300 miles then refill and calculate.

my plastic shim is new but there is a clip that fits on the threads of the armrest.this isnt the bottom where 2 screws hold it on,it's the top of armrest.

my passenger arm rest pulled loose the other day from the top of the door.i unbolted the armrest and there is a metel clip that goes on the end of the threads that was broke.i called teamcherokee and they said they had the clips.2 weeks later they sent me the plastic inserts that goes in the door where the broke metal clip attatches to.the picture teamcherokee shows for a new armrest doesn't show this clip and they don't know what i'm talking about.does anybody have a clue on this one?

i've got the 23 gallon tank with 4.0,aw4 and 4wd and i only get 330-350 out of a tank.mine is a 10mile commute to work doing 55-60 mph and then a little city driving.some people get better mileage or think they do going by inaccurate speedometers or relying on the gauge itself.this truck has been in the family since it was less than a year old and only had 8k miles on it and it didn't get much better mileage then.my gf's 95 grand cherokee with a 4.0 gets about 5 more miles a gallon than my truck,go figure.

i'm buying my gf a digital camera.i already ordered it,just waiting for it to come in and for her to learn how to use it so i can post some pics.i'm definitly getting a 91-91 head and using the hesco tps adapter.do you have to change the trans kickdown cable?i've already got the throttle bracket and most everything else like tb,intake,rail,pump etc.

well,i don't know if i've got tons done but it is moving forward.i only get to work on it on sundays if i don't have something else to do like fix friends or familys cars.if it weren't for comanche club and seeing how much others have done to there mj's then i wouldn't probably have done no where as much to it.my truck will never be as nice as some of the rigs on here but i just want to make it better than it was and hopefully last me a few more years.i want to do the ho head but it will be spring before that happens.i've already got the 99-up intake,fuel rail,injectors,p/s pump and bracket and tb.i've still got a throttle cable and apparently a trans kick down cable.hopefully in april or may that'll come together.

yeah,i'm trying.i just did replace the interior lights with the optronic ones from advance(cost a whole$7 for 2 of them) and got a set of cherokee under dash lights as well.the interior lights hadn't worked in years.the next step is to replace the door jamb switches so the lights will come on without me having to manually turn the lights on.i was going to do the wiper jug this weekend but the timing cover seal sprung a massive leak yesterday so i'm going to have to replace the seal and timing chain set first.i had just replaced the balancer with a professional products one 6 months ago and should have replace it then but it wasn't leaking so i didn't,oh well that's what i get for being lazy.hopefully soon i'll be able to post some pics.

sweet.i didn't realize there was an o-ring behind it.my sending unit isn't rusty or anything.it just seeps fuel through the wires.as soon as i get low on gas i'm going to replace the o-ring,thanks.

i swapped beds on my 88 longbed this weekend.i noticed fuel is slowly seeping through the wires on the sending unit.i'm pretty sure this piece is discontinued through mopar.does anyone know of a way to modify a different unit to fit.i do have the larger tank(23 gallon i think).right now my mj is my dd until i get my engine fixed in 88 mustang so i need to keep her in goodrunning shape.

just swapped beds this weekend.bed has a few very small dents but is 100% rust free.i just ordered a jcr offroad rear bumper for it and got a 97-01 cherokee wiper reservoir to install.still looking for a zj front sway bar.i'm buying my g'f a digital camera for her birthday this weekend so maybe i'll be able to post some pics of my progress.i also got a set of browndog motor mounts to install as well.

they finally replied.a item was back ordered until yesterday and they finally shipped.if they would've returned my e-mails and just said so it would've been alot easier.because of new years day and all it'll still be another week before i can put my door panel back on,oh well.

anybody have any issues with team cherokee?i ordered several parts from them a week ago and they haven't even sent the order and won't respond to e-mails.

just did the wj control arms and a new tie rod at the pitman arm.steers much firmer now.my best friend pulled a fast one on me this christmas.the local jy had a burnt longbed mj that was the same color and same pioneer stripe package that mine has.the bed is near perfect,it just burnt the cab.i was going to buy it but funds were slim because of christmas but my boss gave us a last minute christmas bonus of $200(the same price of the bed)so i called to get the bed but the lady at the yard said it was sold but the man never picked it up.she says she'll call if he doessn't want it.i gave up and said oh well.well my friend tracked him down and he bought it for me.what a good friend.

i had a friend with a 00 cherokee we lifted and he jumped something(not sure what)but the impact was hard enough to bend the rf axle bumpstop but nothing else.we tried to pound it out straight but no luck.it still drove fine and didn't wear the tires any more than usual but every time he hit a hard bump it would rub the spring and make a boing noise so he eventually traded it in for a hhr.

never mind,find the set new from teamcherokee for $12.

i need the 2 plastic clips for the door armrest and the upper metal clip.i don't know if they are available new or not.
