Single day must bid in person. Registered bidders can bid online, in person, or via online proxy bid. Typically in holding from 3-6 months. Most sales done in littleton. Registration with klode allows you to bid at all locations. Values vary too wildly compared to KBB to give an overall % less than BB. That particular unit is very clean and will likely be bought to be resold. I would imagine it will sell for 2.5-3.5k Depending on what you need for a donor vehicle there are others much cheaper. Here are some price points for you to consider: $1850: http://ww4.klode.com/kws/napplications/ ... Exit=Close $3450: http://ww4.klode.com/kws/napplications/ ... Exit=Close $3600: http://ww4.klode.com/kws/napplications/ ... Exit=Close $3800: http://ww4.klode.com/kws/napplications/ ... Exit=Close $3200: http://ww4.klode.com/kws/napplications/ ... Exit=Close $1400:(but with a good title it would make more financial sense to spend $200 and repair it, then resell for a few grand profit) http://ww4.klode.com/kws/napplications/ ... Exit=Close $2300:(was a nice clean unit, would have made for a decent fix and flip) http://ww4.klode.com/kws/napplications/ ... Exit=Close $2000:(sold a year ago) http://ww3.klode.com/kws/napplications/ ... kID=884659 $5000:(sold a year ago) http://ww3.klode.com/kws/napplications/ ... kID=885310 $1600: http://ww3.klode.com/kws/napplications/ ... kID=883202 $450: http://ww3.klode.com/kws/napplications/ ... kID=890162 $750: http://ww3.klode.com/kws/napplications/ ... kID=885745 $7500: http://ww3.klode.com/kws/napplications/ ... kID=888266

Someone, somewhere, converted a XJ with a CRD engine. Only those few cryptic photos and a couple of blurbs explained what they did. That has been out now for a long time, yet the company has not chosen to capitalize on the publicity much. I'm just saying its interesting that the person who had all this done is now selling the Jeep.

Interesting, the guy decided to sell it now.

Dude, this is a "real auction." 958 units auctioned today. They also have a disclaimer that the vehicle is sold as is. Would you also say that is some sort of idiocy. Many times the battery will be mostly charged or fully charged when it comes in, but after sitting around for a few months it will drain down nearly dead. This was the case with my yellow XJ when it went to auction. Original battery, 6 years old, they would jump start it and try to let it idle and it would die. They ended up having to get guys to push it out of the sale area when the bidding was over. This auction has both drive through units and non-drivers. Also, when I posted this last night I looked at the wrong line, the unit above it sold last week. This one sold day for $13,600. And yes that is minor damage. I think by most peoples definition it is. Please don't presume to tell me anything about this auction when you have never been there, or know how any of the process works.
-
Translation: We'll tell you it drives, but we might be lying, and it's your problem if we lie to you not ours. Title status: Good title Except: Translation: See above They process about 1000 vehicles a week, clerical error does not concern me(I don't even look at the damage note). Vehicles are sold as is. Standard disclaimer for them. Insufficient title work doesn't mean anything, its an internal note for them that usually gets cleared once the title has been received from the state. Pretty harsh on them huh?

I wouldnt buy her one for her daily driver, but whats so bad about optima? Quality has gone downhill, way downhill. They don't like being discharged. Randomly fail. I've got three here that I am trying to figure a way to get warrantee replacements from optima for. Here we go again......  :shake: (If you don't remember, we had a lengthy thread on just this subject.) We did have a lengthy subject on it. And what was true then is still true now. Optimas cost more and will not take the abuse(IE discharging) that a standard lead acid battery will. For a few bucks more you can get an Odessey battery that is actually a quality unit and you really do get what you pay for.

Whatever you do don't get an optima.

its beat and has alot wrong for $500. $500 here at auction will get you a MUCH nicer donor with all sorts of clean, good parts.

oe Gibbs Racing driver Brad Coleman was testing a Gibbs NASCAR Sprint Cup Series car at Toyota Arizona Proving Grounds earlier this week and came onto the radio and told his crew something rather unusual "Guys, I hit a coyote," Coleman said. Coleman was running close to 200 mph around the 10-mile test track when he saw the animal wander under the outside guardrail. "I'm in the middle of the corner, and I'm doing like 190," Coleman said Friday at Nashville Superspeedway before practicing his Nationwide Series car. "I'm just cruising. You run the high line there, because that's where the most banking is. It's the high-speed lane. There's just a guardrail there like on the freeway." "It made quite a mess of the car I see this thing, it must've been 100 feet in front of me, just jump out. Right when I saw it come out from under the guardrail, I was like, That's a coyote.?" "It just started smoking like crazy," Coleman said. "And it smelled terrible. I didn't see anything in the mirror, so I was like, I wonder where it went? I said, Guys, I hit a coyote. I'm going to come in because I think it screwed up the radiator. I think it clogged up the grille a little bit." NPS (not PETA safe)

Yes. -
Don't worry, one day you'll get there.

I have plans to put a shell on the back and build a platform for a bed and camp that way.

Got the faucet installed, using the plastic door protectors as recommended by someone else, super easy and they cost about $2 each. Used a 3/4" wood hole-saw but still had to wallow it out some. Faucet seems really nice and easy to move around. I kinda feel like my pump could flow more water, but oh well, it'll do. On high: Low:

He can just say the Jeep came with an extra axle that he sold to buy the earrings. This is why you always need an emergency fund of money, for buying forgiveness!

I can't afford honey. Lots of eggs though!

I'm young and I don't get laid. Maybe you don't get laid because you are too busy working on vehicle projects. :dunno:  vicious cycle I suppose Well, My fans came today so now I can start thinking about adding them in, right now I am thinking about 2 of the 120mm fans behind the fridge, and 1 of the 60mm fans inside. Since I don't have the control panel I am planning to just wire them up with a 3 way switch, off - high - low (might do the rear fans and the inside fan on separate circuits) Also got two of the door stop plates as recommended by someone else to mount the new faucet to:
-
Hide it underneath a pair of diamond earrings.

Honey? What is this the ritz?

Big day for the Westy stuff! Cut the the roof out the westy I got my cabinets out of, I think this solution better than the other way I was thinking of doing it(welding in angle iron and trying to get the hole size right). This should be the best way to go for me as I am very familar with removing body panels spot welded on and installing new ones, so I think I can get a pretty clean install this way. $115 for the roof panel, plus buying my roomate a soda and a couple of chicken sausages at home. After getting the pop top out of the way and removed the windows it probably took me 10 minutes to cut through the pillars, super easy. What ticked me off and took like an hour to fix was my sawsall. I've had this thing for like 6 years, about 2 years ago my last of 2 batteries just died off, I bought a cheapo harbor freight corded unit to get me by untill I felt like buying new batteries(pricey). Well the harbor freight unit quit out on me, so I bought two new batteries at the home despot(coudn't wait to get cheaper ones ordered). So with my two new batteries all charged up I start cutting, after about 30 secs worth of cutting the sawsall just stops. Nothing, dead. So I take it all apart, manually jump power to the motor, and it runs fine, so I start thinking its the switch. Quick research shows the switch costs about $25 online, or $50 in denver. Screw that I think. So I start trying to figure out a way to jump power, I start testing my wires and find that one of the wires that leads from the trigger to the motor has lost continuity. So I figure it broke apart internally somehow(which is strange for a non-moving part), so I'm getting ticked off now at this thing, I am about to harvest some wire from a nearby car and try and fix it, when I look at the connector and see that the crimped on connector is crimped over the plastic insulation! Great, I just spend an hour tearing apart my sawsall trying to figure out why its not working all over 4 mm of insulation that didn't get stripped 7 years ago on the assembly line!!!!!! Oh well, at least it didn't cost me anything and I got it fixed in the yard without wasting a trip! So I got the roof cut off, managed to man handle it out of the vehicle, managed to man handle it onto 2 wheel barrows, roll it up to the office, put it on some movers dollies(thank gawd that the parking lot is paved), get it out to the van, up on the roof, strapped down, and transported safely an hour back home on the interstate. Got home to my new faucet, then went and picked up my fridge door at the post office. Fridge door came very well packed from Canada(thanks greg!-plug). Tomorrow the fans for the fridge mods come. I got a piece of vinyl remnants that will go down over a plywood floor. Got my second battery kit from the junkyard van, got two swivel seats from the junkyard van. Getting closer and closer, now I just need a good day to get to work on the van!

Yup, with enough space they will feed themselves, grass, bugs, etc.....mice. This morning I saw a mouse scurry from below a spare window AC unit, to under my green Z. I don't think it will last long over there. :clapping: Otherwise I'm getting 3 eggs a day right now out of 4 chickens, one is molting so when she is done molting I should be back up to 4 eggs a day. It doesn't sound like much, but it sure adds up!

Got up another 8' of fence today, still have about 24' more feet to go before the back fence is all new. Put up a chain link gate and then used some more chicken fence to section off the backyard. Now the parts storage area is also the chicken area. Moved the coop over and then let them out. Since its also the parts storage area there is lots of weeds and grasses for them to eat. I let 'em out and they went right after the grass and weeds. hopefully they should keep the weed/grass beaten down to reasonible levels for me. The old chicken imprint:
