That's one "Man! I'm proud o' ma rig" pose :clapping: Good stuff

I don't know, it might look alright in a different colour, with huge wheels, a lift kit, roll bar, winch, nerf bar, a shovel lashed to the fender...... I'll stop there shall I!!! edit: some mud might help too.

thanks for the advice  I already treated it to some high grade synthetic oil so it has a fighting chance.

Patched up a couple of holes in the header pipes

Thanks once again!

Thanks guys edit: I don't suppose you got time to enlighten me as to the dependability of a Dana35 for load carrying? Items like, say, I know! 1000lb Campers :brows: Double edit! And where that axle identification thread lives?
-
Apologies if I'm being a search dimwit :dunce: I know there's a thread around somewhere with lots photos of all the different types of axles but having failed to find it with a search and got to page sixteen of the tech section without success I'm posting the question :brows: Today I thought it's about time I learnt a bit more about my trucks under carriage. Can someone either point me to the relevant thread or tell me what axles these are.....pulease and thank you! Front Rear

Is this an AX-5 then Pete?

 Now if I could just get one of those it would make a perfect and more powerful replacement for my V6. Just think how easy it would be to install

Whoa! Nutters! That's nearly as crazy as strapping yourself on top of a Saturn V and pointing it at the moon ;) We need crazy people around to make those leaps of faith

There's some su'weet bikes out there! Those Ducati Monsters are lookers eh? I would so like to see that in motion! Video links?

No kids but the cats we named Briggs & Stratton

Wow! Now that's an amazing collection! You're into "Brit Iron" & European bikes then?! You will post a pic of the Triton when it's finished won't you :brows: At least there's is one bike in your garage I don't need to be jealous of ;)
-
That's is one cool machine :chillin: Your description of a two wheeled Jeep is spot on  Does it have the driven wheel on the rig like the Urals? I've had my eye on one of those for a while now  There's some very silly but entertaining Ural cartoons here - http://www.imz-ural.com/downloads/cartoons.aspx

Man! They look fun! Toys for the boys ( & girls ;) ) What sort of engines do they have? Edit: And so do those!I may just need to take a visit to an atv dealer soon :brows:

I was soooooooooooooooooo waiting for that! LOL  Fair game, it's got two wheels so that's good enough in my warped world  For myself it needs to have an engine in there somewhere though! Nice bikes so far, motors or not ;) Love the old Yam Pete, I used to have a Suzuki GT185 of the same era. Smoked like a diesel truck, lovely! :brows:

I noticed a there's a few biking MJ owners on the "Who am I talking to?" thread. So I thought maybe we could have a "Show us your bike" thread in the pub? How's about it guys? I've got a older BMW 1150 boxer twin and I like to load it up with camp gear, the better half and then ride without a much of a plan. Stopping when we feel like it. Same as road tripping in the MJ

See that bloke with the beer? That's me that is :wavey:

Interesting  So, me being another owner of the delightfully smooth, compact, sexy, super powerful and torquey GM 2.8L V6 I could bolt on a new carb, free up the the flow on the exhaust system and it would release a few more horses? I like the sound of that! Any pointers folks :brows: Would it really make enough difference to be worth the outlay of cash on a new carb and exhaust silencer?

Help! How do remove my windshield wipers?
Jerry replied to Jerry's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Thanks guys, I'll go give it another try with a little more force then. I'll post pics of the bits I destroy as the screw driver slips, cuts my thumb, scratches the paint and goes through the plastic trim ;) -
I'm sure this is obvious but I'm struggling and don't want to force anything and break stuff. I've done that too many times already! Please can someone tell me how get the wipers off. Not the blades but the wiper arms. I need to get access to under the cover panel and sort out the windshield washer points as one of them has dropped out of position. Here's some pics. The thing with the tab slides out to hold the wiper blades off the glass for snow but they don't seem to also lock the arms into position. The arms move up/down on the splines a little so they're not rusted in place. Any ideas guys? :hmm: Thanks, L
