If you build your Comanche that big, it wouldn’t matter what you do with your exhaust, it would definitely still look cool.

They don't dig in like the MT's that i have on my Comanche. You're right, we don't get much snow around the Puget Sound, but it does happen. In fact, the beginning of Jan. we all drove around in over a foot of snow that lasted a few weeks. The NW is also known for many Mountains and high elevations, huge amount of precipitation... so we might know a bit about extreme weather conditions. I can't speak for Kansas... You're on your own.

I always had wondered when I got around to the paint job if I could find replacements... If I bought them now, does anyone know how long I could store them, without something getting messed up?

I’ve had BFG AT’s on my DD (Dakota 5.2 L 4x4) for many years and always liked the way they performed on the snow… Best AT’s I ever had!

The light pulls out about 10 feet (?) and has a magnetic side to it so it can be attached to any metal part, kind off cool. Thanks, i need to get one of those!

While it may look good on a full size diesel, I think it would look rather lame on a Comanche.

Glad you didn't suffer any property damage. We're up rather high on a cliff's edge, so as long there isn't any land slides we have nothing to worry about.

No. But as Phoenix said, some guys will need to either swap to a front valve that's a proportioning valve (the factory unit up there that looks like a prop valve is just a junction box), or swap in an aftermarket adjustable prop valve (my preferred method). Something like this? What exactly does it do and where does it go?

We here in the NW are also experiencing major flooding. Interstate 5 (that connects Canada to Mexico) has been closed in two different places. There are towns here in Pierce County that has called for evacuation of its residents, as substantial portions of the towns are underwater. I think there is something like 22 rivers (in Washington) that are expected to crest its banks tonight. Its not all that rare of an occurrence for those in the NW, but it always makes big news. I’ll try to get out and get some photos tomorrow to post.

There soon should be some good fresh mud for that overly clean chrome machine…

So if you do a drum to disc conversion, wouldn’t you need to upgrade the booster and master cylinder?

I had my original alternator casing re-spooled for extra amps. I don’t know how common this is or if you have anyone locally that does this, but it worked for me.

From looking at the illustration, it appears that the D44 lowers your ground clearance a few inches over the D35…?

I don’t know if you have a bench seat… If you do, it really doesn’t matter what kind of 4”x6” speaker you use in back as the configuration of the cab and the seat muffles the sound. I would invest more into the front speakers and add some front tweeters.

I had them (4”x6”) included in my Pioneer package.
