I got my POS beat up MJ for 800 just the other day in cinci. :fs1: Nice..that MJ was 2500.00 I believe when it was first posted.. Seen it had blown head gasket and he wanted 1500.00. So you got him down to 800.00 that's good. I was interested in that one cause it was a 92. Is the frame solid back at the rear spring mounts? Good score don't see many 91 or 92 MJs .. Enjoy it Yeah I originally had email him (before winter) he never emailed back and then I saw it on Craigslist for 1200 and I email this guy and it turned out to be someone different who bought it January, he bought it for 1000, and then I bought it from him for 800. I'll have to check it out when I get back from school but from what I remember it was..but I can't say for a hundred present it is. Honestly just the bed and floor pans are the worst part on it. The carpet what still pretty wet and damp when I pulled it out before i left.

Well first off nice build dude, I was thinking about doing that with my taillights. Secondly damn you. :cry: Looking at your summer post dates I don't think I would be able to finish this swap in a summer which was my plan. This summer..come second week of May. I'm in the same sitution as you actaully, I just bought an Mj and DD my XJ to and from college, the only down side is my xj is my true DD I have no second car. haha well shucks I had hopped to work balls to wall on this and get it done like super quick. Nice build though Oh two thoughts,, What did you did for the gas tank? did you do the Dakota tank? And I forget the other but itll come back to me... hahaha

No none taken, I was just reviving the old post in hopes that others would join in or the original people would out their two cents back into it, if its held up or what not some time later. And people always say just buy a new one thats not as easy as it sounds. Here in the rust belt it is impossible to find a rust free one up here unless someone brought it up here from the south.

But from what I'm reading its not cost effective to try and mate the Ax15 in my 92 to the 98 4.0 I have in my Cherokee. Man would I love to keep this manual, the 5 minutes I have driven it make me what to keep it so badly! :driving: I'm still trying to decide what to do, whether to do the 98+ swap or just sell my Cherokee. I got offered 3000 cash the other day, but I had to turn it down as its my only way to get home. Hahaha

Well I'm live in Dayton Ohio and anything Ive seen in JY are way worse than this in general, and Ive actually never seen a Comanche in a JY around here. But a buddy of mine is working on trying to get me some of the patch panels they use for insurance work for cheap so we'll see what he comes up with. I go to school up here at WKU and in general the vehicles here so much more rust free down here.. :fs1: Mine is pretty normal rust wise from the ones Ive seen

So is this a pay for what you get situation or can you get a good kit of fairly cheap?
