March 15, 2013 I picked up a 1992 Comanche. It has the 4.0 HO, AX-15, 30/35, 4wd, AC, PB, PS, and after market head unit. As far as I can tell, the truck has generally been untouched, besides the PO spray painting the lower 1/4 area (if you see youll understand what i mean) and putting silicone around the holes in the floor board and gluing aluminum trays to it. She has just under 185K miles on her. She needs the rust fixed and needs a head gasket other than that she seems to be in good shape.

Yeah thats my problem! Why spend on that money on some silly like that when you could get some nice @$$ stuff for 300 bucks! Like ive got tbird coils in my Xj and my s10/xj bastard pack and its about perfect. I wish I could keep the same set up. WHAT if, I went to SOA, and used my xj's pack mines the stop leaf and put it in the Mj, and used the mj upper obivously???

I depends on where you live in north of 75 south of dayton and we noramlly get a good amount of snow.. honestly it jsut depends how much salt they use. The father up north you go the more yuppie they get and the more salt they use..in the cities. lol And I call bull $#!& to dayton not getiing much snow..maybe the winter of 11/12 we got no snow. But we've always gotten snow there ever since I was litte. Maybe the not the same as the lake effect snow as up north gets. But $#!& I had more than 8" of snow in yard this past December. hahaha

(just rounding) Yeah cause see I'm looking for only about 4.5 or 5" of lift. which is what I have on my Cherokee. 6" of lift would look kinda dumb on 31's and I don't want to go any bigger than 33s for DD. Plus I drive 300 miles on the high way to college and back often. So she need to be kinda practical. Hahaha I havent seen anyone really doing any bastard packs just mostly buying new ones, and I can't justify spending 300/400 on just new leaf packs. So is that a 8.25? It looks as if you just welded on new perches up top, then just bolted it back on top instead of down bottom. Is that safe to say?

Ah well heck that's only a 4 hour drive from home town, Centerville (Suburb of Dayton). And only about an hour and a half from where my great grandma lives (far side of cambridge). If you're serious about it let me now and I'll make the drive! hahaha She'd get put to good use, and I would be more than happy to part with the parts you need, that beaut would be getting the 98+ swap done to her. :cheers:

Did you get any lift? Well that makes sense, maybe I can go with the sprung over lift and take out some of the leafs and put in the s/10s or xjs to get the lift down to 4.5 in stead of the 6 that everyone claims they get

I tried to search this but couldnt find anything. I have an Xj with an s10/xj bastard pack, I was wondering if I would be able to use some of the leafs in my xj pack in my Mj's pack (if and when I get one) to gain some lift, I'm only looking for about 4.5 like in my Xj. I don't see why it wouldnt be possible, does anyone have any information on this? If I remember correctly in my xj it goes: Xj Xj s/10 s/10 xj xj I left off both of the overloads
