  1. Re-geared to 4.10's with True-Trac in the Rear... Solid Axle D44 Diff Cover in the back.... Gutted Soaking Wet interior, drying, cleaning and will need to reinstall everything one I find where the waters coming in...
  2. i got a 37 already....was just making sure its the right one
  3. Getting conflicting #'s from different charts on different sites... 31" Tires -> 4.10 Gears I got a long shaft 37 tooth for about $15, didn't see 36's readily available... Does it matter...will they be "close enough"? Wade
  4. ...Bout 100mph.... Not really... just picked up from the 4.10 Regear and haven't swapped speedo gear (not sure I got the right one...) 1st gear goes by awful fast now, but 5th is actually usable... Can sure feel a difference... SW2

  6. 2 unused factory rollbars??? Much more interesting than the bedliners...
  7. CC is kind of like it's very own 12 step program... Steps to insanity, long hours working on 20 year old trucks and ultimately negative impact...
  8. Not sure if this counts or not, but I just talked to the Club guy that did the Re-Gear on my MJ (3.07 -> 4.10) and he said that I'm going to have a hard time scrubbing the smile off my face the first time I drive it...Said it was "quite" spunky... I won't be able to go get it until tomorrow night (got Mr.Mom duty tonight)... Wade
  9. Picked up 2 more bottles today...
  10. Yep.. 4.09/4.10/4.11 should all work together...
  11. That's why I only break it out when I know I'm at home and can't do "too much" damage.. Never any more when I'm out and about...Otherwise Beer/Wine only... Might take a bottle down to Pismo Beach when I go next month... Feel great this morning too...that's what's great about that stuff! Really pure! w2
  12. No no no....just a few shots...maybe 5 or 6... the wife and I have been working on this bottle for a few weeks now...We just finished 2nite... I'm not even a big tequila fan, but this stuff is great...
  13. I think the Carrier Break for a Dana 30 is 3.73up and Dana 44 is 3.92up (meaning to go to 4.10 you would need a new carrier for both axles...) I am having my D30/D44 Re-geared to 4.10's this weekend by a guy in my club, but I'm on 31" and 5 Spd Manual (was on 3.07's)... With the Auto, I think 4.10's are good up to 33", but I'll let the "experts" on here chime in...
  14. Just finished a bottle of this... GOOD STUFF...Just doing some shots with a little bit of lime juice... picked up this bottle at Trader Joes...Need to pick up a couple more bottles...A "little" spendy I think... like $30, but very very smooth...
  15. Which Bumpers/Rock Rails are those? JCR?
  16. Thanks Don... didn't catch that thread... It looks like either these or the Custom4x4 ones would probably suit my needs (if I even have a need)... Not sure I want to spend $100 on just mounts/hooks or $200-$250 (Plus Paint) on a new Bumper with D-Ring Mounts already welded on... I just know if I take the MJ to the Beach and get stuck, I will catch a ration of crap for not having something to yank from... SW2
  17. Do they make a kit similar to this, but to use D-Rings instead of Hooks? I see this kit from HiCountry Offroad on Motion's Site...Any comment on this kit MO? So rear's I'm pretty much SOL unless I add a hitch or a new rear bumper?
  18. I'm thinking about *maybe* taking the MJ down to Pismo Beach next month for my March Club run if I can't get the rear Brakes on the TJ fixed or replaced by then... I don't have the cash or time to do replacement bumpers right now but need to have some tow points so get yanked out when (not IF) I get stuck... I know Custom4x4 Sells the Bolt on front Brackets... are these worth getting for $75? But what can I do in the rear with the Stock step bumper?
  19. I pay like $65/mth for what Comcast calls the "Boost" 16mbs...so they have some kind of speed boosting (proxy) thing that the the first few hundred MB of a new connection gets really really fast (like 22mbs), then it slows down to something closer to the 16mbs. So it kind of "fools" those speed tests into thinking it's faster than it really is... Good for browsing and popping up web pages and stuff extra fast. When I'm downloading something large, it goes fast for the first chunk, then it settles down... I went to downgrade to save a couple $$$ and because I don't get my phone or TV from Comcast, it was only like $6/mth cheaper to drop down to their 6-8Mbs package, which didn't seem like much savings, so I decided to try to cut expenses elsewhere.
  20. Sorry, no MJ's here, but it is pub after all...There was one little XJ that did really well over most everything... Here is the Photo Gallery... http://www.leishman.net/Photos/Jeep/Twa ... index.html
  21. SW2 > BLHTAZ
  22. Well, I dropped the Truck off for a few days to get it regeared, but will need to figure out where the water is coming from before I clean up up and put the carpet back in... Wade
  23. Not sure if anything to do with upgrades, but the site seems flakey for me since this afternoon and noticing lots of double posts and some posts that I submitted never showed up... Goofy.... Wade
