  1. I thought Pat's (JeepcoMJ) bro did at one time... I remember a pic in the Introductions Thread...
  2. I think the Vegas books with disagree with you...I think it will be close or ARI win outright... SW2
  3. Was it crazy to take ARI staight up? P.S., I'm taking ARI and the points (whatever the spread opens at) for the Superbowl....
  4. Not really watching the game (tivo'ing it) and I don't mind the Steelers winning, but I'd prefer they do it by less than 5 Points... :chillin:
  5. search for Rusty's on here... I wouldn't buy ANYTHING they sell...

    Friggin cold

Been 72 here all week... sorry guys! But I do get to pay more to live here...
  7. NO to both... Never owned either, I know guys that wish they hadn't purchased either, I will never own either on any of my rigs...
  8. I know there were a couple guys on here that had installed a Novak T-Case replacement shifter...While I'm installing it on my TJ and not the MJ, I thought I would still ask... beyond the obvious AND TOTAL pain in the butt of bending the shifter cane so I can acutally shift the t-case into all the gears (which I'm no where near close with yet), did anyone have any vibrations/buzzing coming the from the shifter assembly itself (not the cane hiting the tub opening or anything?). I've check the bolt between the main bracket and the arm and the bolts at the end of the threaded rod linkage assembly... The only good thing that has come out of me messing with this thing for like a month now is that I can get the RE Long Arm Belly Pan dropped and Front Driveshaft off all in about 10 minutes flat... Sw2
  9. Mine was AWFUL tough to find...it had been shoved down below the main wiring harness (under the plastic shield thing) and was caked on the inside with "gunk" (inside the connector)... Since it had been "flopping" around for 20 years not having been plugged in...
  10. Do we have a thread somewhere for low-cost/home-brew type things that people are doing with thier MJ's? Along the lines of "what did you do with your MJ today?", but stuff that doesn't cost anything (or very little) Mine is sitting in the garage (since doing the console yesterday), I have zero dollars and really have to keep my mind of what a monumental crappy day/week I've had at work (had to lay off 2 of my guys today, 10% layoffs across the board, probably 30-40% for my IT organization as a whole...some that have been there 20 years or more)... So I'm looking for "cheap", tweaky, putzing type things that I can do to the MJ between the beers to keep myself from thinking about work... Or typing this post to slow down the beer drinking since I still have to work the rest of the week... P.S. -> my 3 year olds, who won't leave me alone say that they REALLY like the dancing 'nana smiley...
  11. There is more than 1 rear support? I got 2 brackets, one mid and one in the back...
  12. bout 1 tank per month...
  13. TEASE!!! It's just the magazine article...
  14. Thanks Don. I will check it out in the morning. Any tips on getting swirls and thin sctarches out of them? Looks like someone rubbed there boots on them at one time. I will be back in SoCal within the next 2 years! I'll NEVER go back to SoCal (cept for Disney or San Diego vacation trips) if I can help it... I'm a NorCal (Central Coast if you want to get technical)... Sorry to go off topic... I say to take a grinder to the whole thing and then have it powder coated in Black, but thats probably not the opinion that the O.P. is looking for...
  15. 76 Degree's here today...wanna head out west? :clapping:
  16. Well, I ignored the kids for a few minutes after work... Here is my Bracket Mounting locations... and the "finished" product (Cup Holder, above where the e-brake would be, on Order...)
  17. The XJ has an open box that directs air into a tube (#2 in the picture) and vents through the two little grills on the back corners of the console. That is for heat for back seat passengers. Since MJs don't have back seats, you would want to close it off, or try to vent it to the sides for the driver/passenger feet. I haven't had my center console off to see what it looks like in an MJ, but we've had my buddy's XJ's off to trace down non working power seats. Turns out there's a wiring harness underneath the center console that had some contacts rotted away. Spliced in a jumper across the harness and presto. But I'm getting off-topic here. Never gets much below 40 degree's here, so heat is an afterthought most of the time anyhow... In fact, about 75 degrees and sunny today!
  18. As long as it holds my coffee cup for my long 1.5 mile drive to work, I'll be a HAPPY man...I can't tell how many times I've spilled that damn thing...
  19. Thanks, that is the one I remember seeing before... SW2
  20. That cupholder is an addon, and also one the makes using the ebrake hard(if you relocated the ebrake there). The factory jeep cupholder sits off to the right side of the shifter assembly. Any idea where a fella can get his hands on that one that goes over the center ebrake location (I'm not planning on relocating mine)
  21. ... as a follow up ?, this pic is from an eBay XJ that I looked at to think about a Engine/Tranny Swap... Anyhow, the console has a cupholder in a place that I havn't seen before... is this a "custom" thing, or an option on some XJ's? I'd give my left one to have a solid cupholder....
  22. Now that I got my buckets and a nice XJ grey full Console from dfreeman616 (great guy to deal with BTW ). , I'd like to replace my Mini-console... I got the brackets from another XJ (are they universal as far as years and such?), and knocked some of the surface rust and painting them this evening... I know from my feeble search attempt that the heaterbox at the bottom of the dash in the middle will have to be removed and/or swapped (or trimmed) with one from an XJ that had the full console. Does anyone have any pics of where the brackets get mounted? Do I need to yank the carpet, or can I just go over the top (and how do I know where mounts go, best guess?) Pics, or links to threads would be greatly appreciated since my searching skills are inebriated...errrrr I mean inhibited (it's been a rough week or so at work with layoffs and some pretty major changes, so I'm trying to focus on my Jeeps to not think too much about the junk going on there...) :shake: Sw2
  23. Huh? I know both conferences pretty well... When I mentioned "Minnesota, Northwestern and Clemson", I was referring to the teams that the B12 North teams beat in this years Bowl Season...Kansas Beat Minnesota (B10), Missouri Beat NW (B10) and Nebraska beat Clemson(ACC) B12 South Lost all but the Texas vs Ohio State(Big10) game OKLA Lost to FLA (SEC) OKIE Light lost to Oregon (PAC10) TTEch lost to Ole Miss (SEC) So which part of my College Football 101 am I lacking On????
