You rock. Thank you!

Once again, my slow pace takes its toll... Where did the factory put seam sealer in the engine bay, exterior, and interior? I'm 75% confident in what "makes sense" when looking over everything, but I'm not interested in missing some weird path for water to find its way in.

Hybrid cage cab brace

Working to get this structure flush up against the back of the cab. I used a bunch of clamps across the top and made some pushers for the bottom. Does anyone remember the first time you discovered there isn't a single plumb wall or square corner in your home? Yeah, I feel like I'm discovering all of AMC's production sins, but I know it's really a non-issue. -

So, is anyone going to end up with one of these? I'm not ready to buy yet, but am wondering about the fitment. -

I decided to do some kickers down to the frame. Even though they're short, they'll surely help limit some twist. -
HVAC box refurb questions/advice

I don't know if it's correct, but i went with a closed-cell foam for the inside of the box. No, I haven't had an opportunity to see how it holds up -

Been plugging away at stripping it down. I swear there isn't more than 2 square feet of flat surface in these engine bays

Why is my eagle overheating?
A-man930 replied to eaglescout526's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Flushing any parallel-flow heat exchanger is basically a waste of time. 90% of it can be blocked up with junk without noticeably affecting flow. If I'm understanding your situation correctly, I bet you've got a clogged radiator. -

I've always wondered how badly that extra leverage will wear the ball joints. -
The only thermostat "adventures" I had when I ran the 4.0 ended with me having to buy an OEM one. Several others prior to that misbehaved. Not sure if you can buy them anymore, but I would heavily consider it.

Many thanks. I'm glad I asked because I was about to close up the yellow ones!

Ok, this is somewhat a case of me being too lazy to clamber into the attic and dig up the wiper linkage, but what are these for?
-
Looking a little closer, I can see my Sharpie labels under the overspray - the square hole says throttle, and the top one next to it says cruise. I'm guessing the other is speedometer. For the ones next to the clutch master, I had totally forgotten about the hood release cable. Thank you!

I've had this thing apart for so long that I can't recall what these holes are for. I'm considering plugging them. Cruise control?

Glad I stumbled upon this; had no idea there was a check valve inside.

This. Cut the crimps, clean up the pipes, replace the hoses.

Only bits of progress lately. The list of "while the engine is in for mock-up" is basically checked off. Last few items are: ✔️ coolant pipe ✔️ airbox I hope to be pulling the drivetrain before Christmas.

Help Needed, Breezer Rear Window
A-man930 replied to Dan Schachner's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Add me to the list of those who would likely go in on a group buy. If they do produce an MJ part, would it be a limited production run? Has a group-buy discount been mentioned at all, or just the opportunity for development costs to be waived? -

I had no idea such a thing existed. What does the pricing look like with the design costs waived?
