I'd really hope that it wasn't a stolen one. And it shouldn't be. I bought it from subaru of schamburg. and it's not an STI. Sorry to read that your friend got his stolen. that scares me a little, thank god the one I bought has an alarm. His had an immobilizer on it I believe. The thief's stole it from his schools parking lot in the middle of the day. Security cameras caught them doing it, but they couldn't get any faces.. Yeah,, keep it parked where you can see it. He had a whole crap load of mods on that car.. One of the fastest cars I've ever ridden in.

Is it stolen? I have to ask cause one of my battle buds just got his silver STI stolen about a month ago from upper (Chicago or near?) IL. You didn't get a steal of a deal did you???? lol

OH yeah I know what your talking about it took me a hour just to get the booster through the firewall because the bracket wanted to spring together... Big PITA!! I think I'll take the booster back out, my bracket and get the jy bracket then set them all side by side to see what I can conjure up....

Think you can go in depth on that?? I Want to use my pedals, but I also want to use the newer switch... Did you have to weld it on?? I know when I looked up at the pedals I saw those 2 bolts and was like,,,"oh he!! no".... But if I can work the newer pedal in the old bracket that has the clutch pedal, I'll go and get the thing.. Ok the 96 pedal bracket has a provision for the 96 switch obviously..LOL..the pedals have a long bolt that goes throught them so they can be removed from the bracket itself...all i did was is reuse my brake/clutch pedals in the 96 bracket so i still had my brake pedal and now had the spot for the newer switch...all my stuff was bolt in...didnt have to weld anything or even swap the rod in the booster like everyone else does...it was one of the easiest mods ive done and plan on doing it to my 90XJ...i already swapped in the 96 bracket and switch..just waiting to find the booster :D any other questions just feel free to ask OK... :D What size are those 2 top bolts?? Whats the easiest way to get to them? Do you know if the newer bracket has a spot for the clutch, that is if the newer bracket is from an auto??? Thanks, jt

all i got to say is RENTAL CAR , the last car we jumped was a brand new 07 dodge charger (the damn v6 though) .it was the day befor my wedding and me and 4 other budies just left the bar (10 am by the way) to go get some damn present thing for the wife to be and on the way i got the bright idea to launch it down the steepest hill in monterey. I'm not gona speculate on the hight or distance but i do know that we hit it at 55mph , that was 8) . o and there was a sober driver :brows: but he wasnt driving right??? lol..

My ex-navy seal uncle has a small range that use to be a silage pit, its about 20 feet wide and almost 75 yards long. It was dug out of a hill about 40 years ago.. I go there whenever I want to spend some rounds.. Very nice set-up.. He has a few steel plinking targets and a few silhouette's. among the various beer bottles , cans, spent shotgun shells,, really anything to be honest.. My weapons of choice are, Mossberg 835 pump, fold over stock, and a few difference barrels Sig p226 .40 S&W Remington 700 PSS .243 Bolt,, with heavy mods.. :brows: My dad has one of the best lil shooting .22's I love to take.. It's a Browning auto don't know the model but its a break down gun and feeds into the stock.. Man that little rifle is by far the best shooting lil rifle I've even held. and so cheap to shoot all day long too....

All that + some new lines from p-valve to mater cyl. The two wires in the middle of the 96 switch are the ones you'll be needing to use. When you get the pedal get some good pictures,, I didnt get the pedal assy because it was an auto, and I have 5 spd. but if I can somehow use it and my clutch pedal, I'll go back and get the pedal.

Well I made one then found a 96 at the jy that already had the spacer,, I say its really close to 1/4 .. maybe a lil more from the lil white foam piece that was also on it.. I didnt mic it out,,, i think if you went thinker it'd work.. maybe 3/8...It doesnt have to a precise measurement.
