If you don't mind me asking where did you get the paint for the B-Pillars to match the Agate interior? Thanks in advance.

It's a couple inches short, once I get everything else done I'll probably modify the arm as well as extend the sending unit.

Had a pretty good day in the garage today, I was able to finish labeling and pulling the harness from the donor rig. I temp mounted the 97 tail lights and ran the rear harness to them as well as the fuel pump. I also installed new brake lines, eliminated the rear load leveling system and with the help of my lovely wife we got the system bled. Now that the engine compartment is buttoned up I can install the drivetrain.

It's a Motobilt Clamping ring, very sturdy.

I have to cut a hole in the top of the tank for a 97 fuel tank. As for the transmission it was junk when I pulled it.
-
Brown Santa just dropped off my new tank for the MJ! Adapter ring for the 97+ fuel pump should be here tomorrow. Can't wait to start cutting on this tank.
-
Do yours run wide at the front? I kinda want mine to read the same front to rear.
-
Nevermind, I just ordered a new tank and adapter ring.

The tubing welded to the box tubing goes up and there is a big difference in the length of each leg front and back so there is no possible way to put them on backwards.

Right on, I'll be curious of what you think. Even if I cut off the pinch seam my rail gets further away from the body as it goes forward.

Long term I plan to run a baffle less tank and adapter ring for a 97 pump. However I also want to build a custom skid plate. I know my fuel gauge won't work but can I modify the sending unit and drop in a 96 pump so I can test fire the new wiring and drive train? Thanks in advance.

Time to call it a day and get inside for some dinner. I had to drill out a ton of spot rivets to get the front seat support brackets out of the donor. But after a lot of measuring I think I found where the new seats are going to sit. All in all it was a pretty good day.

It was a lot of work, but I wanted to do it right so I didn't have to do it again.

Well the dash is in and I couldn't be happier with the fit and finish. I mocked up the center console but for some reason the shifter mount is holding it about a half inch high. I attempted to pull the steering box from the donor and broke 2 of the 3 bolts. Gonna have to come up with another box.

Thanks PCO6!

Me too brother, me too. LOL

Was in the garage by 6am this morning hoping to finish up the dash. Mounted the airbox as well installing the duel diaphragm brake booster and pedal assembly. Mocked up the steering wheel and all the numbers work so I think its time to mount the dash for hopefully the last time.

Gotta quit early tonight to head to the Christmas Parade. But I was able to get the engine harness set as well as the passenger inside harness and the TCU. Tomorrow I hope to button up the dash and set the H.O. drivetrain.

Right on buxmj, here is another one.

Kick Panel fuse box and antenna mods are now complete. I believe I'm finally finished with all the modifications required to convert a 87 to a 97 Comanche. Now comes the fun part, putting parts on instead of taking them off.

Got an early start this morning and was able to finish up the mod where the air box passes through the firewall. I was also able to add the upper dash mounts without cracking the windshield, which took a lot of patience. Time to move on to the radio antenna pass through and the fuse box mounted on the passenger kick panel.

Thanks krustyballer 16 but no pics right now. When my build gets to that stage I'll get some. Can't really get serious about them until after paint.
