I'm really interested in those dirty life beadlocks, however I'm hesitant about the backspacing with my lower links. -
Put the cut fenders on so I could finalize the door gaps and make sure everything lined up right. Starting to look like a truck again.
-
The seats were definitely a lucky find and I couldn't be happier with how they fit in the cab. As for mounting them I just swapped the seats onto the 97 brackets and bolted them down.

Got the XJ doors mounted up this afternoon and after chasing down a ground problem I even got the power windows and locks working. Still have to finish up swapping the door strikers over but at least it's water tight again.
-
Well I'm hesitant to say it but I think I'm finally finished with all the modifications inside the cab. I plugged all the holes, added liberal amounts of body sealer, mounted the emergency brake, welded the door hinges and welded in the seat mounts. Now I can put n the carpet.

Modified the XJ emergency brake assembly this morning from a bottom exit to a rear exit. I've dreaded dealing with this issue from the very beginning.
-
Yea I put the center light in because I'm not a big fan of the B-Pillar lights. The thing between the visors was on the XJ. Not sure of it's purpose but I'm going to put some switches in it.

Thanks, I'll look for some 7mm bolts.

Thanks brother, I'm really happy with how it looks.

I wish I was really retired but unfortunately I couldn't live on Navy retirement pay. After getting home to WV I started working for the Federal Government and I've been there ever since. On the bright side in another 11 years I'm eligible to retire again.

Spent most of the day getting the headliner in and mounting the XJ plastic. I also finished up the wiring in the cab as well as modified the XJ seatbelts to work in the MJ B-Pillar.

Thanks brother, I'm trying to get the 97 swap stuff out of the way so I can get to the fun stuff. Spring is gonna be here before we know it.
-
Been sanding for what seems like forever, still not as flat as I'd like it but I guess it will have to do.

Second coat of glass on the headliner board which means another day wearing a respirator. Man this stuff stinks.

Damn, sorry to hear that. -
Cleaned and painted the XJ brackets and got them mounted on the WJ seats. I really couldn't be happier about this JY find.
