  1. I would like to invite all of you interested to watch the episode of the 6-part series "I'm pregnant, and..." that me and my fiance are featured in on the Discovery Health Channel. Our episode is "I'm pregnant, and bipolar." According to their schedule, it's set to air Dec 29th @ 9:30 PM, Dec 30th @ 12:30 AM, and Jan 2nd @ 11:30 AM EST. I've already seen the first two episodes, and I'm curious as to how ours is going to turn out. Other episodes are; In prison, An Addict, Over 55, Homeless, and Have An Eating Disorder
  2. It would really be a shame to see one of these get parted out just cause of a minor inconvenience like an engine blowing.
  3. Unless you ever plan on going to 4wd... it's not worth the hassle. As Eagle said, those unit bearings are over $100 a piece, you'll need the dummy stub shafts to go in them, which won't be easy to find, you may need new calipers(I've heard conflicting reports as well, but when I took the 2wd beam off a 91 and put a 94 D30 on, I had to change calipers), and you'll need rotors too, which are at least $18 a piece. Seems an awful lot of work to maybe save $60 down the road. Just change your pads around 40%, and you shouldn't need new rotors.
  4. Last I checked, PA was part of New England. At least, it is in my book. All those states combined over there are about as big as my back yard.
  5. Doesn't hurt to put up a WTB thread in the classifieds. There's a lot of New England guys on here who might have one/know where you can get one.
  6. Renix ECUs are rectangular and mount under the dash, HO ECUs are somewhat oddly shaped and mount to the driver's side fender.
  7. Check MOPAR Performance. They carry perches, and from what I've heard, they're gonna be cheaper than most other places.
  8. When you get ahold of a replacement motor, just start a thread on it, and we can walk you through it.
  9. Any 4.0 out of an XJ/MJ from 87-90 will be a direct dump in.
  10. Where to get it installed? Do it yourself. Engine swaps really aren't that hard if you're swapping an identical, complete engine without doing anything to the donor motor.
  11. I agree... just get another motor to toss in there.
  12. yup, mine are the same condition. I'm looking for some nicer ones to save the work involved. :rotf:
  13. It doesn't have to be big. The ones in our trucks are bigger than most vehicles', including the one I had in my J10 with a 360. There were at least two different sizes available... I believe depending on if you had AC or not.
  14. Just because he has an ex doesn't give you the slightest clue if he has one or not... just that he did, at some point. If you had a facebook you'd know. Gawd, way to be in the loop.
  15. That's pretty nifty.
  16. My brother had a set of those 10 holes on his XJ that got hit by the Eclipse, and I thought they were the most god-awful ugly things ever.
  17. Eliminator ones have the fake beadlock I believe...
  18. Do you have all your exhaust bolts? The front stud on the 2.5/4.0 is notorious for working its way out and disappearing.
  19. Not entirely. After 99 the NV3550 was put in and some Wranglers 05+ got the NSG 370 6 speed, but IMO it's not really worth the hassle.
  20. :fool:
  21. Uh... did you tell him to come here?
  22. From the factory: 4.0/5 speed = 3.07 4.0/automatic = 3.55 These were not changed over the years, the only difference from the factory would stem from a special order from the customer.
  23. With or without your fat @$$ in it?
  24. I think the only other thing you'll need is the 79 304 CJ pilot bushing.
  25. You'll need an XJ/MJ AX-15 trans mount and crossmember.(I just recently learned about the crossmember differences.)
