Found all these parts. Keeping my out for a better set of flares still. Bit everything else has been found!

I think the important question is what do you want to do with Tre truck? Off road? Mud bog? Camping? Or just like the look? Nothing wrong with gping to 33s if you like that look. Just be aware it can open a can of worms. A gently driven truck with a d35 on 33s won't necessarily self destruct.

Talk about an adventure getting the truck home! I agree about killing a fixable xj.. The one you got is the perfect candidate! Look forward to seeing your build!

In search of a bench seat cover

https://raybuck.com/product/1986-1992-jeep-comanche-pickup-bench-seat-upholstery-kit-vinyl/ Thats a replacement for your torn cover. If you just want it covered in the short term, id get a cheap one from Wal-Mart. I don't think there is an mj specific slip over cover -
😂 I tried starting a rumor with the neighbors I was intalling a tennis court. I guess I should give some back story. I have been fortunate to have some nice shops to work in. But never for an extended period. I had a 30x40 at my parents. But never worked on the jeep in it. I started my business there. Then moved to two other shops before I sold out my business. Tjose shops were business only. No wrenching on my stuff! I kept a lot of the equipmet. (Metal fab) but i will finally have all my tools under one roof (mechanics stuff stored at parents) looking forward to getting the manche home and turning some wrenches!

Yes. They both use adsb info. Lots of military won't show up.

Finally have a shop of my own! 40x60. Witha full length lean to off the back. We have been waiting since August.... Lots of issues with the company putting the building up. Once ots all done I'll go into more detail. The building is a light gauge steel tube structure with metal siding. 2 10x10 roll up doors 2 man doors amd 2 Windows is the plan. Once its up I'll do the wiring and interior finishing. But for now I just have a slab!

Went and looked at the truck for the first time in a while. Ive got my work cut out. I was planning on throwing a jy 8.8 in and drive it some. After lookin at it today I just want to start taking it apart and fixing it up. Hopefully that starts soon. My shop should be up in a few weeks. -
Control Arm Drop Kit Question
camjeep3 replied to Warren99's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Best way to measure you current lift height is measure top of axle to bottom of frame. This link will give the procedure in detail. As well as the stock distance. Take your number and subtract the stock number.... Thats your lift height! https://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=912893 -
I believe that cruisers tip 4 covers that procedure.

My mj came with the basic panels. No speaker grill, and the short armrest. Id like to upgrade to the higher trim level. With speaker gill longer arm rest and map pocket. For manual windows.

Sounds good. I'm not in a huge rush. Pm me when you get back. Thanks!
