jimoshel
Thanks Guys, Those days are long gone. I'm a old fart now! Just memories is all that's left. Those days are long gone only if you let them. Some things may take a little longer but then when you've accomplished them it's much more satisfying. The body may moan and groan and give you a hard time but it's the mind that determines your age.
87ComancheLB
Recent upgrades I guess after 27 years I could use some new battery cables and connectors, original 4 gauge looked pretty rough.2 gauge SGX 4 foot of black and 3 foot of red.Perfect fit goes around the Evap canistor. Bought by the foot on Ebay.Image Not FoundMilitary Battery connectors and covers $25 I wanted a low profile. I used the original 4 gauge to accessories post.Image Not FoundI like this mod cleared up alot space easier to work on, cleaned up the vaccuum tree garbage,Image Not FoundI hardwired the C101 and another small connector. I used small strands from the 4 gauge wire to wrapped each wire tightly together before soldering then shrink tubing.Image Not FoundEnough space for another battery. I will be reloacting the deep cycle here and redoing the dual battery charging system.Image Not FoundThe magic sticker.Image Not Found

I have been the owner of this truck for the last few years. Overall the truck was in great condition when I got it, except that it was essentially completely stripped and was mainly primer for paint. Over the last few years I have been working on it, I had to have it repainted and I had to reassemble almost everything. Everything in the bed was rotting and tossed. The camper shell had been cut for a TV antenna so I no longer have that. I replaced the rear windshield and many cosmetic pieces that had aged. The bucket seats that were in the vehicle were not the tan ones in the picture and I found them almost impossible to fit in. I'm fairly large (6'3", 260 pounds) so I sold the seats and found someone with a bench seat for sale. I had it reupholstered. I also converted it from 2WD to 4WD and lifted it several inches and put my stock JK wheels on it. I replaced the steering and lighting. I still have a few more things to complete, like some of the badges, repainting the jeep logo up front, stereo system and reinstalling some of the interior trim pieces. Here are some pics of it right now.

I didn't know it came without headrests as well. It was just luck that mine has it.
