jaekl
Dig the early turn ins. Cold snow isn't a bad driving surface. Here in PA we seldom enjoy that treat. How is balmy WI where a great many Sweds emigrated?
CEThomas
That is so COOL. My son and I have been studying and and talking about building a Rally car for the past year + to enter into Rally America series. http://www.rally-america.com/index.php They have a race in MI in January that is juat like the Sweden race http://www.sno-drift.org/ Now that we will be parting the XJ out in a few weeks we will have a free bay and just have to get back to final car choice so we can start the slow process of building / funding the car  Anyone that has a VW Golf / Rabbit / GTI/ Jetta that would like to trade for a parts XJ let me know. We have taken some parts off it but has a lot of parts that are good

It need two fuel pumps and the cheapest one was 179 bucks.... The pressure pump was like 280, so I think I did both of us a favor!!! lol I kelp the GTI wheels though if you ever follow through with the build.. I bet a brat would be a good rally car !! Tracker
I live on a segment of the "Rim of The World" rally course here in California. It's kind of cool to have a race come to you, instead of the other way around. Good seats too. And yes, Brats do make good rally cars.

All Subaru's are good, and they pay the best for top wins. Just when you start out you can only have 2wd and non-turbo  I have driven VW's in the past so that is what I favor now ;)
