They have a race in MI in January that is juat like the Sweden race jamminz.gif

Now that we will be parting the XJ out in a few weeks we will have a free bay and just have to get back to final car choice so we can start the slow process of building / funding the car

Anyone that has a VW Golf / Rabbit / GTI/ Jetta that would like to trade for a parts XJ let me know. We have taken some parts off it but has a lot of parts that are good jamminz.gif

Man your like 6 months to late.... I just hauled off a GTI last year.. It need two fuel pumps and the cheapest one was 179 bucks.... The pressure pump was like 280, so I think I did both of us a favor!!! lol I kelp the GTI wheels though if you ever follow through with the build..

I bet a brat would be a good rally car !!

I live on a segment of the "Rim of The World" rally course here in California. It's kind of cool to have a race come to you, instead of the other way around. Good seats too. jamminz.gif

And yes, Brats do make good rally cars.

All Subaru's are good, and they pay the best for top wins.

Just when you start out you can only have 2wd and non-turbo

I have driven VW's in the past so that is what I favor now ;)

Watching that race is what started it all  We would be on cloud 9 to be in CA where I could race and JR could wheel :brows:

From the WRC Swedish Rally held in early Feb.

Driver is Sebastien Loeb and he is driving his 06 Citroen Xsara.

He is the WRC world champion for 04,05,06 & 07 and took 1st in the 1st race of 08. I would like to have a chance to see him or ride with him

The guy talking is the TV dude

hey Thomas,

you can use a comanche. rally america has a hot shot class, its RWD non-convenional vehicles. two of the vehicles i saw were an early 90's mustang lx 5.0 and a 4 cyl s10 pickup. ... food for thought.

I know ;) but trying to keep my son from finding out :D As I will be the main driver, I want the FWD lite car to drive :brows: I had a VW Rabbit when I was in college that I ran

We did think about the Xj for about 30 sec.
