HOrnbrod Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Okay, which one of you cheeseheads is selling these on Ebay, and why? SOA? :D http://tinyurl.com/yno4tq
HOrnbrod Posted February 5, 2008 Author Posted February 5, 2008 lol Try this link... AAAARG, missed that. Thanks JT.
tkgibbs27 Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 what would those put you at for doing a soa lift on the back?
tkgibbs27 Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 wow. what would you have to do to the front then?
jtdesigns Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 I'm not 100% sure if that would net you 9-10" of lift.. Guessing that from SOA's giving you 4-5" and those springs are 4.5 lift.. someone will chime in I'm pretty sure.
tkgibbs27 Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 does the age and use of the original springs affect the height of the soa lift? or will you usually come out with a 4-5inch lift anyways?
86FUBAR Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 wow. what would you have to do to the front then? Check my build thread , i didnt do the rustys springs but i did do an add a leaf on a soa and got 9" +-
89eliminator Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Okay, which one of you cheeseheads is selling these on Ebay, and why? SOA? :D http://tinyurl.com/yno4tq guilty...went SOA cause i needed another inch or so for a nice rake
89eliminator Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 I'm not 100% sure if that would net you 9-10" of lift.. Guessing that from SOA's giving you 4-5" and those springs are 4.5 lift.. someone will chime in I'm pretty sure. you would probably get a 9-10in lift if you did that. and you would get a really high center of gravity as well.
tjbliley Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Would prob look like a baby version of these new trucks ( Fords, Chevy's and Dodges) lifted so high they don't even look like they are anything other than someones RC toy on steroids.
tkgibbs27 Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 doing some figuring to see what i'll need one of these days. i only want a 6.5 inch lift. now do the front and rear equal out if you do it front and rear that height or what do you have to do? i know you get an mj lift for the front, and either a aal or soa for the rear, and i am going to do a soa for the rear.
Oizarod115 Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 6.5 is easy, grab some old MJ leafs or explorer leafs and bastard pack the two together on SOA til desired ride height is accomplished  front, grab some rubicon express (doesn't really matter who's springs but i swear by RE) 5" springs or 6" springs and use a small spacer to get your 1/2" at 6+" you'll NEED to address control arms and probably steering. and definitely track bar. a drop bracket kit for CA's would do it, or a Long arm kit, anything for a 6" cherokee lift will work
