james750
ok, thanks, I'm asking so i can decide on either making my own sliders or buying some rr short bed sliders. 6in is not that much space lost so i think the short bed sliders will work. To bad you are so far away. I'd fab up some in a day or so. I would need you rig to build them.
james750
yeah, i wanted to build my own but I'm not a very good welder. a friend was going to help me with the welding but that offer isnt up anymore. I'm going to need to learn to weld better soon to build my front and rear bumpers so I'm still thinking of different options. i might be able to build all of the parts and go to a professional welder to have the parts welded up. Pete M
I built my bumpers, crossmembers, and rocker guards that way. I cut and prefabbed everything and then took it to a pro for final welding. :D

jtdesigns
Those are the wheelbase measurements. Thats center of the wheels front to rear correct?
tkgibbs27
that's another one i was thinking about, figured it was more likely, but wasn't quite sure. jt has the question above that i would have asked. what are the measurements of the longbeds and shortbeds. none wheelbase nor full length of the truck, just the length of the beds. i want to see if this canopy i have will fit on a shortbed.
