Interior lights

Can someone tell me why my interior lights aren’t working, the headlights and taillights and radio lights work as well of the parking brake light I know you are supposed to turn the light knob but that isn’t working

the lights themselves should rotate up and down, with one of those 3 positions being "on".

There are actual bulbs in the fixture, perhaps they have burnt out?

Be aware, the factory housing are insanely fragile. Only try and take the lens off if you are checking the bulbs, do not try to pry out the whole assembly or it will break.

I've had great success repairing the clips with Gorilla Glue. I found three of the four tabs inside the pillars when I pulled the carpet.

 

If you want to replace them, I can sell you the ones I bought and didn't use. They require you to cut the trim just a bit, which I have no interest in doing if I don't have to.

I personally committed to the Euramtecs they look close enough to the originals and aren't made of dust but I didn't enjoy trimming the 1/4" out of the one side.

Interestingly, I found there are two types of lights, on one the back plastic is gray the other yellowish. The gray ones do not seem to be as fragile. The top one is NOS, tabs never compressed.

Pry carefully between the lens and the chrome surround putting inward pressure on the lens side until it pops out of the socket. You only need to get one side loose and the lens will come off.

 

Left and right side is where the retaining sockets are, do not pry on the top or bottom sides. 

 

The lens rarely breaks. It is the chrome surround and other plastics that fall apart so when in doubt put pressure on the lens.

I don't want to do it until I have no other options. If I do, I'd like to have the bezel chromed first so it matches the original.
