OzarkGuy Posted July 7 Posted July 7 I picked up a 1990 Comanche from another member here. She took great care of this truck. I will bring it to the final stretch cosmetically. She had taken care of most the running issues. Haven't had a manual vehicle in 25 years. I've repaired the speedo, put LED lamps for the dash and got the TPS adjusted according to a write up here. Truck starts up without needing to step on the accelerator pedal while cranking.
fiatslug87 Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Welcome to CC. Is it already in the registry? If not please add it, thanks.

OzarkGuy Posted July 8 Author Posted July 8 Thanks guys! Regarding the grille is it installed upside down? And yes, this is already on the registry from previous owner. I have been secretly sourcing cosmetic parts such as door handles, carpet, interior trim bits and the like. My wife knows I am OCD and if given the green light, I could easily spend three times the value of this bringing it up to like new appearance!

Honestly, I am surprised it didn't sell sooner. PO says there were many tire kickers and low ballers. I offered less and we negotiated to a perfect number. To be honest, I acted quickly knowing there were alot of junky trucks out there. I can fix mechanical, but I can't do body work. The less it needed the hopefully more affordable the paint.
