acfortier Posted January 4, 2024 Posted January 4, 2024 Anyone have a part no. for Napa/O'Reilly's/etc. for a replacement plug? Trying to find something local before I buy a Crown one.
Eagle_SX4 Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 I think it is a metric thread. I always have a hard time finding large metric threads locally. I had to order a crown one when I replaced mine.
acfortier Posted January 5, 2024 Author Posted January 5, 2024 Yeah, and it looks like the Crown part is OOS nearly every where and backordered. Posts on other forums indicate that they were able to get something from local parts store, but that was like 15 years ago now.
gogmorgo Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 Do you need the whole plug? One of mine was rounded off when I got it, I just filed the flats down until I could get a socket on it.
MancheKid86 Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 Crown Automotive 83500623 guess it helps if i read the whole post, i see you are looking to source local first
pizzaman09 Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 NAPA tends to be the type of place that would cary such a thing.

Htchevyii Posted January 6, 2024 Posted January 6, 2024 I don't see where Crown lists the thread size? Seems likely that a Toyota might use the same plug.
acfortier Posted January 7, 2024 Author Posted January 7, 2024 Got it finally pulled, went to Advance. They had a bunch of different size drain plugs. Anyways, it's a M18 thread. Was able to just pick one up off the shelf and install it.
