I sourced an ‘04 WJ D35 sway bar and mounting bracket’s. Had to cut the brackets off the axle with an angle grinder.

I won a Rugged Radios M1 race radio from the off road hall of fame silent charity auction so that's another piece down. 

 

Super simple clean rendering. It's almost boring looking lol

Started the tear down. Looked up the BOM numbers and it looks like it's an 87.

No real big updates to share..I did find a killer deal on a old NIB KC Hilites back up lights kit. My buddy picked up a cool little "vintage" Jeep sign at Tractor supply for me. I also had the word "Comanche" fixed on my rendering

Searched all over and came across these OG @kchilites 6" x 9" lights on ebay, they are definitely going to need some work but are exactly what I was looking for. They are going to look great on the Sport Bar

I've been following you on FB and saw you snagged that sport bar.  I'm down in Laguna Niguel and also have a red MJ.  Rebel Offroad does Jeep's and Coffee every month or so--you'll have to bring that thing out.  It's in amazing condition.

I'm kind of a hoarder. I found more lights haha.. These are KC Hilites 241 6x9 just like my previous post but, these are NOS!! Never used in the OG box!

It's been a while since I updated this.. To be honest the project has kind of stalled out. I have a big race in Mexico coming up in May and I'm focusing all my time and money on my XJ..

 

That said I did come across another great deal on some vintage NOS KC Hilites and I couldn't pass them up.

 

These will work great on the front bumper in the OE fog light location

Picked up the Comanche from my Dad's house where I have been storing it today. My Jeepspeed has been cleaned and put into hibernation. Time to start on the Comanche!

Today I was talking to my neighbor about the extremely faded and oxidized paint on the Comanche. It was resprayed at some point in its life and it doesn't look like the owner ever waxed or even washed it much. My neighbor said he thinks he can bring it back. I let him do a test and was shocked! The bottom of the door took him about 5 mins to shine up. I will definitely be doing the rest of the truck this week

Wow.. looks like my neighbor saved me a few thousand dollars. This just after the first rubbing compound. The hood and roof are going to get wet sanded before the entire truck is polished

Minor update today.. I installed a full gauge cluster. I kept the black bezel because I think it looks cleaner
