Long time fan of the Comanche and would like to purchase one in the near future. So I'm just reading and browsing to get up to stuff on them. I own a 70 BBB Javelin. They are a great classy design, it gets attention from most people into Jeeps, truck fans, and gals that think it's cute. Looks around and ask questions! Comanches are fun! Eagle Posted January 17 Share Posted January 17 Former Javelin and AMX owner here. I bought a 1968 Javelin sight-unseen with my combat pay from Vietnam, and it was waiting for me when I came home. The next year my brother bought an AMX, and we plus a friend created the Javelin/AMX Sports Car Club. I believe our state club was the first in the country. Welcome aboard.
